Praying For You
Happy Friday my friends, praying for you all to enjoy your weekend. I know there are so many of you that are hurting right now in various ways. With some of you it is a financial battle, and some are fighting medical battles for yourselves, or dear loved ones. Some of you, have now become a parent to your parents, and it is a hard thing to accept. Whatever your battle is, please know you are not alone. God is right by your side, and He will not leave you. When you feel like you cannot carry on, He will carry you. I am here for you also, I am in your corner, and by your side. I am praying this through for you. Everything will be ok, just hang in there my friends. I love you all.

Thankful Thursday

Another Thankful Thursday is here, and I am very thankful, but not just on Thursday, everyday. Here are some reasons I am thankful. (1) When the Doctor says: I am legally blind, and have diabetic retineopathy, and my eyes are only going to get worse, until eventually I am totally blind. I am thankful that my true Physician says: Psalm 146:8- The Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord raises up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. (2) When the Doctor says: My husband is numb from the waist down, and we do not know if it will be a temporary, or permanent condition. I am thankful that our Healer says: Hebrews 12:13- Make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame, may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. (3) When my husband has not worked since December, and the only income we have is $175.00 a week. I am thankful that our Lord has sweetly blessed us through the kindness of so many of you. I praise Him for each one of you, and constantly pray for Him to greatly bless all of you. (4) When our rent is due in 3 days, and we have less than $100.00, we will not give up, or give in, for our Lord says: Hebrews 13: 5&6- Let your character be free from the love of money, being content with what you have, for He Himself has said "I will never desert you, nor will I forsake you." So that we confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What shall man do to me?" These are just a few things I am thankful for, there are so many more things I could name. I pray that this video will bless you, it truly does me. There is going to be healing after this pain, and beauty from these ashes. I am never going to stop singing His praises, or dancing for Him. I love You Lord.
Praising Him

Psalm 145:3
God is magnificent; He can never be praised enough. There are no boundaries to His greatness. (The Message)
Almighty and majestic God, who is incorruptible, invincible, all knowing, everywhere present, all seeing, just and loving, we come before You in awe, and with confidence. We praise You for who You are, and for all You do. You are extraordinary. You are supernatural in every respect. Hallelujah! We offer ourselves to You as living sacrifices. It is pure joy to be serving You. Amen. Friends, please join us in deep prayer. We are really in a bad place financially, we have less than a hundred dollars. Our rent is due May 1, we are not going to allow satan to defeat us. God will provide, we believe that with all of our hearts. Please stand in belief with us my friends. Also, please pray that when lovebug goes to his doctor on may 11, that he will be released to full time duty, so he can return to work. He is beginning to get depressed over our situation, he wants to be able to support us. Continue to pray that the nerves from his waist down will begin to work, please Lord. We tried to get food stamps, they turned us down, and I tried again for SSI, they denied me again. We are waiting to hear about lovebugs disability. Pray my friends, please pray. We love and appreciate you all.

What Is Going On?

Tonight, I was very saddened by something I saw on the news. A homeless man saved a woman who was being attacked, and in the process was stabbed. He was lying on the sidewalk, bleeding to death, as several people passed by. Two men stood having a conversation right beside him, and did nothing to help him. Women, and men walked right by him, and never stopped. One man stopped, squatted down beside the man, turned him over, saw the pool of blood he was laying in, and then turned him back over, and left. Needless to say, the man died. What is going on? What is wrong with us people? Have we become so cold hearted, and selfish, that it is that easy to walk away from a dying brother? Wake up people, it is time for you to take your eyes off of yourself, and put them onto others. Quit always looking inward at yourself, and your problems. Try looking outward at the world, and all of the hurting people. Lend a helping hand where it is needed, give of yourself for a change, instead of doing nothing. Be a gift that someone opens up today. Jesus is coming soon, I pray He finds us doing His work, instead of our own selfish desires.

Help Me

Help me and hold me, Lord Jesus,
as I seek to walk the path of faith.
Help me think about things clearly,
and grant me the gift of wisdom.
Help me understand things correctly,
so that my mind may mature.
Help me see things with eyes of faith,
in order to perceive the Kingdom.
Help me hear others with empathy,
and respond to people with love.
Help me endure all things gladly,
knowing I am never, ever, alone.
Help me and hold me, Lord Jesus,
I am Yours, and You are mine.
as I seek to walk the path of faith.
Help me think about things clearly,
and grant me the gift of wisdom.
Help me understand things correctly,

Help me see things with eyes of faith,

Psalm 66:17-20
Psalm 66:17-20
For I cried out to Him for help, praising Him as I spoke. If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But, God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer. Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer, or withdraw His unfailing love from me. (NLT)
Confessing sin doesn’t seem to be popular in many parts of the world right now, but Father God, today I bring my sin to You and seek Your forgiveness. I’m sorry for pride, envy, procrastination, time wasted, selfishness, and much more. Please help me to identify all the areas of sin that need Your cleansing. I do not want sin to be so much a part of my life, that I fail to recognise it. Keep me close to You, and alert to all that would take me away from You. Amen.

Acts 4:12
Acts 4:12
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (NIV)
My Saviour Jesus, You died on the cross taking the punishment for my sins. You conquered death, and revealed eternal love and life to me. Thank You so much. I want to be more, and more like You. May Your Holy Spirit fill and direct me. Teach me Your ways so I can be salt, to a world that is becoming bland because of its rejection of You. Grow my understanding and faith, so I can be Your light in the darkness of selfishness, apathy, and hate, that is enveloping so much of where I live. You are the hope of the world. Amen.

Thankful Thursday

Hello my friends, and welcome to another Thankful Thursday. This week has been filled with all types of emotions. Lovebug and I are in the middle of a trial due to someone harassing us, they still continue, even after our video. But, we will keep on praying for them, and trusting our Father to take care of us through this trial. Wednesday, was a day of remembering my precious momma. She went to heaven four years ago, I miss her very much. There will be a sweet reunion one day soon, thank You Father. Our finances are low, but our spirits remain high. Our Father loves us, and He is holding on to us very tightly. He has a plan, and everything is going to be fine. We love You Father, and forever will give You all the praise.

If
If, for a moment, we stand in peace and quietness
And let our Saviour come near to us,
Will not the Holy Spirit like a wind,
Engulf us with the inspiration of His eternal word?
If, for a moment, we give our time to a personal friend
And allow the love of Christ to fill us,
Will we not feel the touch of His hand,
That ministers through our weakness to bless another?
If, for a moment, we stop to gaze at the Cross of Christ
And see the Father weep for the Son;
Will we weep too, and know the passion
Of His glorious victory over evil, suffering and death?
If, for a moment, we stand back from the distraction of life,
And wait for the voice of God to speak;
Might we hear a whisper in the world,
That tells us He is full of love, and never stops His caring?
Take the time, my soul; yes, take the time.
And let our Saviour come near to us,
Will not the Holy Spirit like a wind,
Engulf us with the inspiration of His eternal word?
If, for a moment, we give our time to a personal friend
And allow the love of Christ to fill us,
Will we not feel the touch of His hand,

Come Reign In Us Lord
Come and reign in us, Lord Jesus
As our Master and Lord, consume our attention and make us glad;
Challenge our ways of thinking with all the energy of Your youth;
Speak into our hearts with the authority given You by the Father;
Demonstrate Your sovereignty in works of power and might;
Heal our bodies, souls and spirits, cast out our demons with a word;
Fight the evil and sin exposed in us by Your truthfulness and love;
Break down the ungodly systems and traditions we obey instead of You;
Demand a full response from Your people to the sacrifice of Your love;
Lead us in authority through the baptism of death to life, with power;
Grant us a vision of Your glory which shines a light upon our future
Come and reign in us, Lord Jesus, now and forevermore.

Blood Work Results
Everything came back elevated, the numbers were really bad. My doctor changed nearly all of my medicine. I go in July for another ultrasound of my thyroid, then the needle biopsy. I go in August for more blood work. Thanks for all of your prayers, I love you all very much.
The Things Of God
The things of God are immeasurable, and inestimable:
His love is more precious to us, than any gift we can receive;
His support is more steadfast, than the foundations of a tower;
His grace is more awesome, than any experience we may have;
His faithfulness is more consistent, than the seasons of the earth;
His promises are more assured, than any due processes of law;
His future is more certain, than the science of an atomic clock;
His healing is more complete, than the circle of the globe;
His salvation is more secure, than the safest of homes;
And if we have problems, then it is us who must change.

Speak To Us Lord
Speak to us in words of prophecy, Lord God
And may we discern the truth of Your Word
Speak to us in words of challenge and vision
And may we be willing to be tested to our limits
Speak to us in words of love and comfort
And may we be empowered by them for action
Speak to us in words of wisdom and revelation
And may we be fed by them, day and night
Speak to us in words of faith and sound teaching
And may we accept the Bible’s truth and honesty
Speak to us in words used by the Lord to bless the crowds
And may we use them again to bless our troubled world
Speak to us in words which change all things for good
And may we grasp them now, not let them go ... forever
And may we discern the truth of Your Word
Speak to us in words of challenge and vision
And may we be willing to be tested to our limits
Speak to us in words of love and comfort

Question
My dear friends, I have a question that I am hoping one of you can answer for me. If someone is coming to your blog, and leaving hurtful comments as anonymous, but you know who it is, can you do anything to stop them? Or if they send you unwanted emails, how can you stop them? I have asked them more than once to stop, and leave me alone. But, they refuse to listen. Any help would be very much appreciated.

The Word Of God
The Word of God is a mystery,
But we all may read or hear it;
The Word of God is a ‘means of grace’,
By which we may all be saved;
The Word of God is a brilliant light,
Which is focussed on God’s pathway;
The Word of God is a unique signpost,
Showing only one way to heaven;
The Word of God is a river of life,
Flowing out into the sea of eternity;
The Word of God is a place of safety,
Where all can find true peace;
The Word of God is a stirring challenge,
Which demands a response from us;
The Word of God is always with us,
Written in the Bible, and our hearts
But we all may read or hear it;
The Word of God is a ‘means of grace’,
By which we may all be saved;
The Word of God is a brilliant light,
Which is focussed on God’s pathway;
The Word of God is a unique signpost,

Thankful Thursday

This has been a busy, sometimes crazy week. But, that is ok, I am still thankful. I am so very thankful that I have gone from weighing 258 1/2 pounds, to now weighing 158. One hundred pounds gone from my body, woo hoo!! I am looking forward to losing more weight. I am thankful for God leading me to a wonderful Doctor, that truly cares about me. I am still waiting on the results from my blood work that was done on Monday. Praying it will not be bad news. I received more bad news about my eyes this week, but I can deal with it, God is with me. I am so thankful that I can see right now, God's beauty is everywhere. I do not want to go blind, but if, and when I do, it will be ok. God's beauty is imprinted deeply into my heart, I will forever see my Father, regardless if I go blind or not. I praise Him for that.

When A Woman Trusts God Bible Study
Find ~ When Jesus saw her sobbing and the Jews with her sobbing, a deep anger welled up within Him. He said, "Where did you put him?" (John 11:33-34 MSG)
How do you deal with life's disappointments, or troubling circumstances? Are you emotional, or quiet? Do you take action, or do you become reserved? Name a recent situation that has been trying? I deal with life's disappointments, by praying, and studying God's word. I am usually emotional, but quiet at the same time. I often keep my emotions to myself, and only share the deep things with my Father God. I take action, doing whatever Father God leads me to do. A recent situation that has been trying, is my dear lovebugs health crisis. But, God is getting me through it.
Read Matthew 14:22-33
22Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat, and go on ahead of Him to the other side, while He dismissed the crowd. 23After He had dismissed them, He went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray. When evening came, He was there alone, 24but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves, because the wind was against it.
25During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. 26When the disciples saw Him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
27But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."
28"Lord, if it's You," Peter replied, "tell me to come to You on the water."
29"Come," He said.
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"
31Immediately Jesus reached out His hand, and caught him. "You of little faith," He said, "why did you doubt?"
32And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33Then those who were in the boat, worshiped Him, saying, "Truly You are the Son of God."
Peter exercised great faith in getting out of the boat. What caused Peter to start sinking? He grew afraid, and took his eyes off of Jesus. Yet when he realized this, Peter called out to Jesus to help him.
What did Jesus do about Peter's situation? Jesus reached out His hand to Peter, and saved him from sinking.
What is causing you to sink, and what do you think Jesus will do about your situation? I must never take my eyes off of Jesus, I must have faith, and keep on believing.
Take a few moments and locate some Scripture passages that are especially encouraging to you. List those passages, and write out one you would like to memorize.
Mine for this week is, "He who refreshes, will himself be refreshed." Psalm 11:25.
How does crying out to God, affect your relationship with Him? How do you think God feels, when we cry out to Him? It shows Him, that we trust Him completely with our life, and that we depend upon Him, to help us through everything life throws at us.
Feel ~
Describe a time when you have asked God to intervene in a situation. How did you know God was involved? Christmas Eve night, when my lovebug nearly died, I asked Father God to please intervene, and save his life. I know Father God was very much involved, He saved lovebug's life. Thank You Father God, I give You all the praise, now, and forever.
Did the situation turned out like you prayed it would? How did that make you feel? Yes, He saved lovebug's life, and brought him out of ICU quickly. It made me feel so beyond grateful, and happy.
When he realized he was sinking, Peter cried out to Jesus. When you are sinking emotionally, to whom, or what do you cry out? I cry out to Jesus, and He always hears me, and answers me.
Based on your options for dealing with the most trying situation you are facing, how can you best glorify God in your response? Give Him continual praise, in the storm, and after the storm. Praise His holy name.
Follow ~
What is the difference between crying out to God, and simply crying? Which do you do most often, and why? Crying out to God, is letting all the heartaches, and deep hurt flow out, and into my Father God's heart. Simply crying, is keeping things inside, and trying to deal with your pain alone. I most often, cry out to my Father God, and He always lovingly, and gently wipes my tears away.
Consider Jesus' raising of Lazarus from the dead. In John 11:39, Martha expresses some doubts about Jesus' ability to raise her brother. Martha had more confidence in her knowledge, that her Savior. What does your attitude toward the impossible, say about your faith in Jesus Christ? Nothing is impossible with my God, those things which are impossible with man, are possible with my Father God.
Jesus restored Lazarus's life. Do you believe He can restore the quality of your life? Why or why not? Yes, I believe He can restore the quality of my life, and of lovebug's life. He shows us daily what He can do, by providing for our needs in everyway.
How many times have you, like Martha, struggled, wavered in despair - or sunk into it - not seeing what you expect from God in the here, and now? What are three things you can do daily to prevent from sinking into despair? More times than I care to remember, and yet the solution has always been simple. 1. Begin in prayer, giving it all to Him. 2. Leave your burdens with Him, quit picking them back up. 3. Study His word, and follow His instructions for your life.
Summarize the instructions in Matthew 14:22-33 by completing the following statement:
Because Jesus - Do not be afraid
I will - trust in Him, and keep my eyes focused.
Now write a prayer expressing your desire to wait for God's answer to your prayers. Use this prayer as part of your daily time with God and as an expression of your desire to live with God - honoring patience as you wait for Him to reveal His plan to you.
Dear Father God,
I want to seek Your will for my life everyday, and follow Your path that You have laid out for me. You know my future, because You hold it in Your precious hands. I will patiently wait upon You to reveal what is to be. I love You Father God. Amen

Amen

Letter To God

This is from my dear sis Peggys blog. If you go to this link, you can WRITE a LETTER to GOD also or READ others:
http://letterstogodthemovie.com/share-the-hope/write-your-letter-to-god/
This was my plan when I started this post but then I found out their site has this available. I'd like you to join me and write a letter to God on whatever you'd like: ask God a tough question, tell Him about something very special, or important that is weighing on your heart, or if you just want to tell Him about a good part of your day or life.
This reminded me of that song, "Dear Mr. Jesus..." when a child was concerned about abuse (1985).
So if you would like to do one on your BLOG and LINK here instead of over there, to share among us then sign up and let's share in MckLinky. I did this starting on April 9th ... hoping that it works and it should last 'til my last day on this blog:)
(if not let's just link up in the comments, share your Blog, date of "Letter to God" and link to your letter). So, I decided to join in on this, and write my own letter to God. Dear Father God, it's me, your daughter Denise. My heart is feeling very heavy tonight Father. Heavy with gratitude for all You daily do for me, You bless me much more than I deserve, I feel so unworthy, but I thank You with all I am for finding me worthy. It is so nice to share my heart with You, You understand, even those times, when I cannot express myself, You totally get me, like no one else ever has, or ever will. I am worried about my dear lovebug Father, he is feeling discouraged. He still has no feeling in his feet, or legs. He is scared that he may never get the feeling back. He really wants to go back to work, he is very worried about our financial situation. Father, please lift him way up, and encourage his heart. Help me to do whatever I need to do, to help him through this valley. I know You love us, and You continue to provide for us. We are so grateful Father. I know You can heal, and restore lovebug, in Your time Father. I am here, patiently, and faithfully waiting on a miracle. About my eyes Father, please know that I do not blame You in anyway. This happened due to a disease, it is just part of my life. Everything is ok, You have been my vision, and will continue to be. I love You Father. Sending You great big hugs and kisses, love You always and forever. Denise

Prayer Needs
Hello my sweet friends, praying for all of you to have a very blessed weekend. I wanted to make you aware of some prayer needs, and ask you all to please pray with us, and for us. Your prayers are very much appreciated. I want to give Father God a great big shout out for blessing us through some blog friends, we were able to pay our rent, electric bill, and phone bill for April. But, our car payment is due on April 14, and we do not have the money to pay it. What money we do have, we need to use for groceries, and some medicines that we both need. Also, please pray for my eyes, and for the feeling to come back in lovebugs legs, and feet. Join your hearts with ours, and lets pray for each other. Blessings and love to all of you.

Thankful Thursday

Today is Thankful Thursday, and it is also my big sister's birthday. Happy Birthday Vickie, hope your day is as beautiful as you are. She is now 55, and I am 46. Wow, the years have flown by. I love her so very, very much. This year for her birthday, I made her gifts. The funds are low, and I was actually glad that I had to make her gifts, they come straight from my heart. I made her a prayer box, a Lydia jar, and a alabaster jar filled with oil that I prayed over. I hope she enjoys them, I mailed her box to her yesterday. This week has been a week of sweet blessings. Tuesday was my 25th wedding anniversary, and also my dad's 75th birthday. Now, today, is my sister's birthday. Thank You Lord for all the blessings You have given me, I love You dearly.

Our 25th Wedding Anniversary
Hello everybody, what a beautiful day it is here in Tennessee. The temperature is 85, and the Son is truly shining. Lovebug and I have been married for 25 years today, woo hoo!! We have been having a wonderful day, we spent all day at the park. We are now getting ready to go out to dinner at our favorite resturant, Golden Corral. My sister is such a sweet blessing, she knew that we always go eat there on our anniversary, but this year we would not be able to go out to eat. She gave us a Golden Corral gift card for our anniversary. Thanks sis, we love you, and appreciate you. We tried to make a video for the blog today, but we need a new memory card. When we get back from eating, we will make a video. Stay tuned for me and my lovebug. We love you all very much.

Marriage Monday-Open Topic

Tomorrow, April 6, is my 25th wedding anniversary. I cannot believe it has been that many years, it seems like only yesterday. I praise God for bringing my lovebug into my life, and joining our hearts and souls together. Lovebug is so much more than just my husband, he is my trusted companion, my best friend, my defender, my cheerleader, and so much more. I almost lost him on Christmas Eve, and that has made me love, and cherish him even more. I appreciate him dearly for all he has done for me, and continues to do. He is my eyes so much of the time, due to my failing vision. He is my ears, he shuts out all of the bad things in the world, and whispers sweet love into my ears, which is music to my soul. The sweetest sound is his heart beating next to mine. Thank you for loving me lovebug for 25 years, can I have 25 more years? But, actually, that would not be long enough, I want you always, and forever.

Easter
We praise You this day, Almighty God and Lord of All, for Jesus Christ was raised from the dead not just on the first Easter Day, but for all time. We praise You, Jesus, for defeating the powers of death; and we thank You for persisting with Your plan of Salvation until it was complete. Almighty God, what You have done transforms our lives! Jesus Christ, we stand in awe of Your resurrection! Come, Holy Spirit, come! ALLELUIA!
‘The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad’ (Psalm 126:3)
We are glad because of the love of our God:
Jesus has been raised from the dead!
Angels have proclaimed the Good News!
satan has been roundly defeated!
Love has won a great victory over sin!
Mercy is triumphant over judgement!
Faith has been fully justified!
Grace has been shown in action!
We are glad because of the love of our God,
Which has been made known to us in Christ Jesus
Through His life, His death, and His glorious resurrection!
It is true! We believe, and we are saved: ALLELUIA

Pain To Praise
We can use suffering to praise God. The mere act of going on with our daily activities, despite intense pain or deep sorrow, is a living testimony of our love for the Father. As we begin to rely on divine strength, we go beyond the physical limitations of our own earthly abilities. We learn how to live by the spiritual power and passion of our faith.
Jesus often spoke about the force of our faith – even to move mountains. He proclaimed the tremendous might that we have because of God’s authority. Such energy transcends worldly strength because it has no material boundaries.
If we have faith – belief as small as the size of a mustard seed – God can transform even our most difficult, and painful circumstances. He can renew our minds, and enable us to live by what we know, not what we feel. Our tiny act of faith allows us to turn pain into praise.

Dear So And So

This is a new meme I found. Thought I would give it a try. 1) Dear sickness, go away and leave me, and my husband alone. You will never defeat us, no matter how hard you might try. Father God is our true physician, and He will forever take care of us, and if He chooses, He will bring total healing to us. 2)Dear eye pain, go away, quit trying to take my sight from me. No matter how much pain you throw at me, my Father God will lead me through it, and He will be my eyes. 3) Dear financial problems, you do not scare me, my Father God can, will, and does provide for my every need. You will be defeated. 4)Dear lovebug, I am so proud of you, and the strength you show daily as you battle through your health problems. Battle on, Father God is right by your side, and so am I.
Taking a blogging break
Hello everyone, praying you are all doing well. I will not be back online until Monday. My eyes are causing me so much pain, they hurt badly. I need to take a break, and rest them. I have post ready to go up through Monday. Please take care, and I am praying for everyone to have a joyful Easter. I love you all.
