The Word of God is a mystery,
But we all may read or hear it;
The Word of God is a ‘means of grace’,
By which we may all be saved;
The Word of God is a brilliant light,
Which is focussed on God’s pathway;
The Word of God is a unique signpost,
Showing only one way to heaven;
The Word of God is a river of life,
Flowing out into the sea of eternity;
The Word of God is a place of safety,
Where all can find true peace;
The Word of God is a stirring challenge,
Which demands a response from us;
The Word of God is always with us,
Written in the Bible, and our hearts

Jeremiah 23:29 -- "Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces? I just saw this scripture this morning and thought it was appropriate since you were discussing God's Word. Isn't it something to consider God's Word like A HAMMER? Wow. Living, Active Hammer.

HIS WORD and yours! The Word of God is life breathed into action and your words are action breathed full of life - His and your own - spirit filled and powerful! I'm so blessed by you and the re is nothing like the power of His Word! I'm so thankful for the gift of His Word, that I am privileged to have always had available to me, whereas others have not... makes me want to BE a better Word to others. It is said that I (or you or anyone)may be the
only Word (Bible) that people will get the chance to read... or see in action. May we live His Word more fully each day! May His Word truly be the Bread of life we seek! Thank you, sis for such inspiration on the precious Word of God!
