Hello My Friends

Hello my sweet friends, praying that everyone is doing well. I am still in shock, not wanting to believe that my big brother is gone. Tomorrow(Wednesday) is the visitation from 4-8, and his funeral will be on Thursday at 11. I have not really been sleeping, my mind will not rest from all the memories. I cry so much, then I just want to sit, and be very still and quiet. My Doctor called me today with my most recent blood work results, no good news to report. My cholesterol levels are all very high, my thyroid levels are way too high, my hbc1 diabetes test came back high. They are still waiting on the results of my kidney function tests. She increased my medications, including my nitroglycerin patch. I have been really hurting in my chest, but I know it is just stress. God is carrying me, because right now, I am too weary to walk on my own. But, this happened for a reason, and only God knows that reason. My brother is in a much better place, no more diabetes, praise God!! I love You Father, and I will cling tightly to You through this storm.

What a storm you are in right now, dear friend! Your brother, your health, your safety where you live. Thankfully, He is with you in the midst of the storm. Just like center of a hurricane has an eye that has calm weather, that's what Jesus provides for us as we seek shelter in His arms - peace in the midst of the storm. Even though it's all around us, we are safe.
I have another full day with the mission team that is here to help us this week, but I will stop and pray for you as the Lord brings you to mind (which is often lately.).

Love you my friend.

It's alright sis, trust the grieving process. All this is a process step by step. Remember to take care of your self. It is real important to hold onto life as we visit the pain and loss of his death. It will be alright Denise.
I love you.
Remember He is no longer there. It is a shell of life not the true live. The visitation is just to make it real in the midst of the denial. Te denial is just a part of the process.
It will be alright.

Denise, Honey, I just heard. I am so sorry this had to happen. I know it brings sadness and pain but like you said God is in control and He has a reason for this. We weep for ourselves when we lose a close loved one and not for them because we know they're are rejoicing in their Savior right now. Just imagine the reunion when your Brother met your dear sweet Mother. It brings tears to my eyes just imagining it. I remember the morning I was told my Dad was gone, just 16 months after my Mother. I thought to myself, "He's with Mother now and their holding hands and have big smiles on their face."
Bless you during the next few days. I will pray for you.

I have been away. I didn't see your name on the list today. I was hoping nothing was wrong. I am so sorry to hear about your brother. Having lost my uncle not long ago, I know what you are going thru.

I did not participate today because I didn't think I was deserving to have my words among all you fine Christian women. Because you have commented on my blog and I have read your's, I feell as if I know you a little; that you are a friend and would understand we are not all perfect.

Again I am so sorry for your loss.
