Stress Less Blog Hop

Our hearts are sick, when they are burdened with stress.  and Jesus is the eternal healer of hearts. I found this to be very true back in March of this year. As I laid in bed, in the early morning hours, unable to sleep, as usual. The evil one entered my mind, and began to take over. The words he whispered in my ears, of course, were all filled with negativity. Examples: Denise, you are worthless, no one would miss you. You are nothing but a financial burden to your husband, you constantly cause him medial bills. Look at you, you are so ugly, not much of a woman. You have no hair, no eyebrows, and look at your huge body. You are pathetic. The world would be a better place without you in it. Go ahead, kill yourself. Take those pills in the bathroom, overdose. As I listened to those words, I started to cry, and pray. I told God, how very sorry I was for disappointing Him, and not being a better daughter to Him. I asked Him, to forgive me for what I was about to do, and to please just let me go to sleep, and then come and meet me. I took those pills, my husband went to work, not knowing what I had done. I got very sick, and started throwing up. I could seriously feel the life going out of me. Suddenly, I heard another voice, calling my name. It was my precious Lord Jesus, and He was telling me how much He loved me. He said He forgave me, and that it was not my time to go. He helped me to make a call to 911. The ambulance came, and took me to the hospital, from there, I went to rehab for a week. I now see a counselor every two weeks. Physically, my heart was definitely sick. November 2014, I had a heart attack, and triple bypass. Now, I have coronary artery disease. Emotionally, my heart was totally broken. But, you know what my friends? Jesus is my true physician, and eternal healer. He took all the broken pieces, mended them, and put me back together, better than ever. Thank You Lord Jesus!!

Denise~ You have given me goose bumps as I read this tender, right from the heart, post.
Thank you for sharing your heart, and may the Lord continue to meet you right where you are.
When you were in distress and cried unto the Lord, He heard you and delivered you for there is more for you to do here on this earth.
You are ministering to others right here on your blog, praise the Lord.
Bless you!

The devil loves to play with us, doesn't he? But thankfully God is stronger. Sending you a warm hug, Denise.

Oh my dear Denise... truly this does break ones' heart and spirit ... and in a way, knocks the breath (air) right out of my sail ... of what I'd hope to lift you up today ... instead I am without words ... but I have one from God that I was just reading (so forgive me for leaving it up to God to cheer you but I really hope you are no longer in this place, you have less stress and know you are blessed (however, I read further down the many posts I've missed and it does not look so) so please read God's Word from our SPA readings for Weds. one of which is this from The Message personalized - may His Word lift you up to be well and stay strong:
1-2 O Denise's soul, bless God.
From head to toe, we’ll bless His holy name!
O my soul, bless God, don’t forget a single blessing!
3-5 He forgives Denise's sins {and mine}—every one.
He heals Denise's diseases—every one.
He redeems Denise from hell—saves her life!
He crowns Denise with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
He wraps Denise in goodness—beauty eternal.
He renews Denise's youth—you’re always young in His presence.:)
6-18 God makes everything come out right;
He puts victims back on their feet.
He showed Moses how he went about his work, opened up his plans to all Israel.
God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, He’s rich in love.
He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever.
He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs.
As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is His love to those who fear him.
And as far as sunrise is from sunset, He has separated us from our sins.
As parents feel for their children, God feels for those who fear Him.
He knows us inside and out, keeps in mind that we’re made of mud.
Men and women don’t live very long; like wildflowers they spring up and blossom,
But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly, leaving nothing to show they were here.
God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear Him,
Making everything right for them and their children as they follow His Covenant ways
and remember to do whatever He said."

OK ...be strong in the Lord, Denise may the power of the Holy Spirit cover you and keep you safe and your mind filled with Godly thoughts of being blessed not stressed and being well in Him forever and always - You are His and He loves you so much as I do, too! Love and hugs, Peggy
