Update on my big news
Hello dear friends of my heart. I pray your week is going well, the weekend is almost here. Hope you all have fun plans. My niece Kelli, who is little man's momma, will be celebrating her 31st birthday on Sunday. So, of course, I will be visiting her Sunday. I have bought her two gifts, still need to get her some peel away twillzers(her favorite candy), and make her some cow splash cookies. Well, here is an update on my big news. A man named Mark, called me today from Siskin(the rehab hospital). He set me up an appointment to come in for a interview, and evaluation process. After that, if I qualify, which he said he feels that I will, they will send me for vocational testing. If I pass the testing, they then get me started on the vocational training program, which is five days a week, for six hours a day. After six-nine months, they help me get either a part time, or full time job. I also talked to a very nice lady by the name of Lisa, she leads a brain support group. It is for anyone that has had a brain trauma, aneurysm, or stroke. They meet once a month, every third Tuesday of the month at six P.M. at Siskin. They have special speakers, activities, even picnics. Sounds great. I am on my way. I am feeling several different emotions right now. Nervousness, excitement, anxiety, happiness. Please pray for me, ask God to let everything work out for me. I really want to do this program with all of my heart. I need this change in my life. Thanks to all of my cheerleaders. I go in for the interview on July 31st at 10 A.M.
