FMF-Broken

Last night, as I was drying a casserole dish, it slipped from my hands, and fell to the floor. As I stood there watching it break into tiny little pieces, I started to cry. It reminded me of my broken heart, shattered little pieces laying everywhere. Sometimes, I feel like I am broken beyond repair. But, I know, God will get out His precious tools, and fix me up. Life is hard, but, that can be a good thing. The harder it gets, the tougher I become. God has prepared me for the battles. Brokeness has left many scars, but, remember the scars upon Jesus?? I consider myself to be in good company.

Scars can be such reminders of survival and provision through the hard. Thank you for these words. Have a blessed weekend celebrating our risen Savior.

Amen sister. Next time I break a dish, I will think of this. I am a clutz, a sinner, and a God seeker. Seeing His Son broken for us is an image of love that evokes such emotion. Psalms of "broken" are in my 5 minute Friday post too...He loves a broken heart.

We are stronger in the broken places, it's true.

I can so relate to feeling broken. This past year has found me feeling broken -and then feeling somehow like I was even more broken. But these heartaches bring us into a much closer relationship with Jesus and for that, I am thankful! Lisa :O)

Very true. We endure sufferings for His name. But all in all victory is ours!
Hugs and praying for your wounds! ♥

True... God will fix us no matter whar. He's not done with us yet. He loves us too much to let us remain broken.

What a great analogy, Denise. Sometimes it does feel like we are broken beyond repair. But with Jesus He's never willing to let us stay in despair, He's always willing to put us back together again. If we let Him. I hope you have a blessed Easter weekend!

Each of our scars tell a story of hope and redemption. When we show our scars we tell His story.

Yes, brokenness can hurt and be hard, but we are in "good company" as you said. I love Philippians 3:10-to know Him in the fellowship of His sufferings. Happy Easter, Denise!
