Word-Filled Wednesday

My cure for anxiety is not found in a bottle of medication, relaxation tapes, or in a doctor's office. My cure is my Lord, and Saviour. His words calm my anxiety, and all of my fears. I reccommend the Lord, and His precious words found in the Bible, for anyone who is suffering with any type of anxiety. Instead of running away from your problems, run to the Lord, the ultimate problem solver, and healer. Blessings to you all.

I love that- "I recommend God." So true! He meets our needs and is there with us through our trials, bringing us to the other side.

Blessings,

That was my struggle sis as an inmate who couldn't talk and move grabbed my hand and looked me in the eye and couldn't speak...But I could see his need for His salvation. It was difficult as other nurses were there. That is always my struggle. How do I share Jesus at times like that...And I believe what you said! He is the answer! Because He also saved us...you and I. Keeping you in prayers. God bless you and always strengthen you. I hope you're feeling better as I type. Love you in Christ.

Amen and AMEN! One thing I have dealt with over the past decade (partly due to the delight of menopause, but not solely) is long sleepless nights. And anxiety always seems to grow in those dark moments, doesn't it. I tried listening to praise and worship music but the variety in tempo actually can keep me awake.

I always have good sermons on my iPod - www.ccPhilly.org and www.Calvarysbd.com are two of my favorites for downloading. I discovered if I saved some of their quieter sermons, I can turn them on, very quietly, in the middle of the night and put one ear plug in. I am often back to sleep within 5 minutes - but if I'm not, I'm filling my mind with the awesome Word of God which chases away the anxiety wonderfully! :)

Thanks for a sweetly encouraging Word-Filled Wednesday. :) Praying! :)
