Our Valentine's Date

Ahhhhhhhhh, love is so beautiful. My date tonight with my lovebug was beyond awesome. First, he left today for a little while, when he came back, he had bought me a lovely red shirt, and two necklaces to wear with it. So, I immediately put my outfit on, and got ready for our date. When he saw me, he kept telling me how beautiful I looked. My heart was smiling really big at this point, and believe me, he looked very handsome(what a hunk!!) We left, and went to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Golden Corral. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, and great conversation. I never grow tired of talking to my lovebug, and listening to the sound of his voice. After our dinner, we went to Target, lovebug bought me a gift set of perfume , and a cute pair of jeans. Then, we made a trip to Dunking Donuts, yummy!! We left there, and came home. But, our date was far from over. Lovebug put candles all around our living room, and scattered a box of rose petals that he had bought at Walmart all over the living room floor. He turned some music on, and asked me if I would dance with him. We slowed danced all over the room, in my eyes, and heart, we were the only two people in the entire world. After our dance time, we enjoyed a delicious dessert of donuts. We snuggled in each other's arms on our couch, ending a beautiful date. I am truly a blessed woman, lovebug, you are, and will always be, my forever valentine.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Denise, this is the most romantic date. You, my dear, I know I don't have to tell you this, but I'm gonna say it----you are a very lucky woman. And your dear lovebug is most definitely lucky to have YOU.

Oh, it sounds like you had a wonderful date! P.S. I love that you have Third Day as your background music! Mac Powell is awesome :) Did you know they are coming to Chattanooga in May?! I hope I can afford to buy a ticket - I saw them at Riverbend and they sure do put on a good show and sound just as good live as they do on the radio.

Now, I say that moment is "priceless!!!" I'm praying for both of you for the Lord to bless you both richly and I know that His love overflows in that household of yours. Take care sis. Love you in Christ.
P.S.
Did you check if there were any ants on the floor? No!!! Not the crumbs from the do-nuts! You're both too sweet! :)

Ahhhh sweet Denise... sounds like an awesome date and evening! You are such a romantic ~ the two of you!!!
You both deserve this LOVE time!

What I feel so bad is how you're so sick afterwards...like me... I thought I treated myself to a delicious meal, even have "leftovers waiting still", but than like out of nowhere WHAM, BAM...

So this makes me even more glad that you and Lovebug danced the night away! You're the perfect valentine for each other! I love that Lovebug splurged on a lovely red valentine shirt and necklaces for his ladybug... ahhh Shortybear,
even more delights after dinner.
With all your weight loss, I'm sure you need new stuff. But take care of yourself and your Lovebug. It's good to hear that romance still is so alive for some couples when the enemy is so out to destroy others.

I would so enjoy a DUNKIN'!
I'll be content with eating whatever God provides for today that will stay.

Thanks for praying and know I'm praying that this love lasts forever and remains so beautifully etched in your mind and heart! God's very BEST love sewing two as one. Perfect!

Peace and JOY,
Peggy
