Pray For His Way

Sometimes the best way to handle a situation is for us to do nothing, and to let God do everything. He does not need our help when it comes to changing people, or circumstances. He is more than able to accomplish anything, if we let Him.

No doubt there were many believers who sought to change the ways of Saul. But, nothing could compare to what the Lord did in an instant, by taking away his sight and speaking to him through the Spirit. Once Saul could see again, he was a new person in Christ. He became Paul the apostle.

God is transforming all sorts of things today. Some involve people. Some involve situations. You and I need to be patient, while God does what needs to be done. We have to give Him room, and time to work. If He needs our help, He will certainly let us know. Until then, we must wait.

If we feel the urge to do something, let us pray – pray earnestly and fervently, for His divine will to be done. That is what I am choosing to do for my sister, she needs my love, and continued prayers. God, please help my sister through whatever is bothering her, get satan off of her back. I love her Father, and I love You.

thanks for posting this. This has been coming up for me lately and reminds me of ...

Psalm 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

even the changes can be much different than we expect or can even hope for. each has a will of our own that God respects

I really can relate to this post. It's amazing how Our Lord can change people and circumstances in a second. For some reason the passage in Matthew 6:33 comes to my mind: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto You.”

It's so important that our primary focus is on the word of God and not our words.
I would like to add a prayer:

Heavenly Father,
in the midst of our trials may the problem at hand not be the single focus of our prayers.
Help us to seek You for godly understanding and patient endurance, so that our lives are spiritually maturing in the process of waiting upon You to answer our prayers.
In His precious name I pray,
Amen.

I pray that you My Sweet Friend will have a Beautiful and Blessed Weekend.

God Loves You as do I,
Niecy.

Great words of wisdom for me Denise, as I seem to try and (help) God out from time to time. I am learning of how God's timing is perfect As always so blessed.

I read your last post, and am so sorry about you not feeling well, but am thankful you are better, I am sure the incident didn't help. I will be praying about the situation.
Much love to you today,
Hugs,

As always you give us something much needed to think about. How true and how simple but we make things so much harder. Just wait, pray, and breathe. Hugs, Mollye

Prayer is very active and powerful and what we should do. Our flesh can hamper what God is doing. I laughed when I read "He doesn't always need our help!"

AMEN and many blessings Denise,

Very wise and powerful choice and message!!!

PRAY FOR HIS WAY! AMEN!

PRAY FOR YOUR SISTER! AMEN!

Thank God for HIS TRANFORMATION!

It's interesting, that this week in "Life's Healing Choices" the step or choice is "making changes",
the TRANSFORMATION CHOICE. And you're not even reading or doing this study yet God spoke this to you. Thank You, Lord.

Matthew 5:6 (TEV)
Happy are those whose greatest desie is to do what God requires.

The chapter shares 7 ways to change your focus.
1)Focus on changing one defect at a time.
2)Focus on VICTORY one day at a time.
3)Focus on God's power not my will power.
4)Focus on the good things not the bad things(And you certainly have!!!)
5)Focus on doing good not just feeling good
6) Focus on people who help me not hinder me
7) Focus on progress not perfection

I really feel that you have responded well and these 7 focuses may help someone else. Look at how you used the example of Saul even.
Praise God! You see more clearly than most my dear Denise.

Thank you for sharing this GOOD WORD
"If we feel the urge to do something, let us pray – pray earnestly and fervently, for His divine will to be done."

AMEN!!! Love you,
Peggy
