Marriage Monday-How To Celebrate Valentine's Day, Every Day Of The Year

Valentine's Day, a day we celebrate love. But, why just that one day? We should celebrate love everyday, in every way. On Valentine's Day, we think about candy, roses, jewelry, and going out to dinner. Do not get me wrong, I am like other women, I enjoy those things. But, they are not at the top of my list, instead love, and love only, is what truly matters to me. Love is the most treasured heart gift ever, and does not cost a dime. Lovebug is sweeter than any candy ever could be, his precious aroma fills my world more fragrantly than any rose ever could. His presence in my life, makes my world shine brighter than any diamond ever could. He fills my desires, and longings, more than any gourmet meal ever would. So, what do I want for Valentine's Day? I want what I have had for 25 years, my lovebug, the greatest gift ever.

I want another 36 years with my hubby! Let's see, we'll be 93 years old and the King and the Queen of the nursing home on Valentine's Day. LOL

You are ever the romantic. Perhaps you should write a novel. :)

As Christian women we know and value the gifts that God has given us, in our husbands! God centered marriages always result in those "one anothers" happening naturally. God bless you both and many more years to come!

Denise, You have said it perfectly. I join you in wanting/needing nothing for Valentine's Day but my dear husband. I will probably steal some of your words to express how I feel about him. Just beautiful. God bless your love and your Lover.

Good Morning Denise, What a wonderful read for me today on my first visit back to blogland. I have always seen the love you both have for each other through your writings,I can't tell you how inspiring and refreshing that is.
You and Lovebug are so blessed to have each other, as my dh and I are. I agree the most important thing is not the materials but having each other. I don't know what I would have done without my dh's loving care while going through this physical trial.

I have thought and prayed for you both so much lately, even though i wasn't able to visit.Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes.
Hugs and blessings,
Sue

Oh, that is so sweet, Denise.
I believe that being married for too long is not the same with being married for just a year. Love grows stronger with the time. :)
You are an inspiration to us, Denise.
