Life happens unexpectedly. We never know exactly, what will occur down the road, even though we often try to plan ahead. There may be obstacles that we cannot anticipate, much like driving on the same streets every day. One day is fine, and the next there is a huge pothole, that throws the front end of the car completely out of alignment, and damages the wheel drum. Without warning, we have to spend $200 or $300 on repairs.
Suddenly, we begin to fret, even though there is nothing we can do to change our situation. Instead of feeling anxious and hopeless, why don’t we become full of hope, in knowing that God will help us? Somehow, some way, God will provide a way for us to survive this difficulty. He has been there for us in the past, and He will be there now. Remember all He has done before, and you will see there is nothing to worry about. Life may change, but God never does.

Thank you for ministering deeply here to my mind and heart tonight.
I love you sweet friend.

Amen. God will never leave you nor forsake you.
Your post reminded me of a page in my Stormie Omartian calendar the other day:
"If you are sick, run to your Healer. If you can't pay your bills run to your Provider. If you are afraid, run to your Hiding Place. If you are going through a dark time, run to your Everlasting light."~ Stormie Omartian
Amen sister. I love your faith! It shines!
aww, I'm sorry that happened Denise. stay strong.
Ohhh Denise...is this just an example or did this really happen? yeah...life happens unexpectedly with many potholes. I encounter them daily here plus speed bumps that are just as bad. Hold on to your faith and Jehovah Jireh! May God provide abundantly all that you need and more. Love ya'...praying harder!

This is something I really needed to hear. I have a financial need ($500 to be exact) that I need by the end of February and I have been worrying and letting myself become anxious over it. Thanks for reminding me to let go and let God.
Praying for many blessings for you, sweet friend, and for Eddie's healing, in Jesus name. Love and Hugs ~
Amen. I will take refuge in that thought as I go about this week. Thank you & God bless.

It took me years to learn this...probably still have more to learn...but He is making sure that I am on my way!
Love you girl
What a beautiful reaction. You have encouraged me tremendously. Keeping you and Eddie in prayer.
Denise:
On December 23, I sat in my house worrying about an unexpected plumbing bill. We had a major leak under our house that could have caused significant damage had it not been discovered. In my journal, I vented and then vented some more.
The next morning while blog surfing, I read the post on your blog telling about Eddie's illness. I began to weap. I was worried about a plumbing bill and you were dealing with your husband's illness. A few days earlier I had read of your Christmas Eve plans and it made me cry even more to know that you wouldn't be able to attend your father's church. I was ashamed of fretting over a plumbing bill, knowing you were facing a much tougher situation.
Fast forward - our plumbing problem was repaired on Christmas eve morning and God provided the way.
He has always provided for my needs and He will provide for yours. He will make a way.
You are an inspiration to me and I'm always blessed when I read your posts. Sorry this comment is so long, but I hoped that I would one day have a chance to tell you how you have blessed me.
Love in Christ,
Joan
