Blessings Denise...How perfect this verse is for anyone in need of comfort, reassurance, peace! Calm in the midst of the chaotic storms of life simply rest in His boat or His hands or His lap!

Great verse for someone at the LIGHTHOUSE of PRAYER in need of God's strength & help; to be upheld when the walls come crashing in...
there is no one like Our Father.
He navigates so well if we just do not fear, do not dismay, for the LORD Our God is with us!

Excellent choice! Love you my sweet sister, thanks for being my friend, sister & loyal commenter!((hugs))
oh...and also an awesome pray-er!

I love that verse, Denise; it's one of several that I have printed out and in the desk next to my computer (others are Psalm 40:1-2, Psalm 46:1-2, Philippians 4:6-7, Romans 8:38-39, and Psalm 62:1-2). I've been going to an interesting blog: http://www.fear365not.com/, which posts 2 veress daily; one about fearing God, and the other about NOT fearing earthly things. Considering the spirit of fear under which so many in this country are living right now, focusing on what we should and should not fear is a helpful thing. Thank you for your beautiful and simple reminder of how we should be more like children. Even as I type this, storms are all around us, and yet my son is sleeping deeply upstairs, resting in the assurance that WE will take care of him should things get too rough. And, if we let Him, God will do the same for us.
Blessings, dear friend...

Denise,

Thanks for your prayers on me, lifting and encouraging me along.

And this verse fits perfectly into exactly what I'm facing right now.

I need to make a plaque or something and carry it with me so that I can pull it out of my pocket and read it.
