Eye Appointment

Well, yesterday afternoon, I had an appointment with my eye doctor. I received more bad news, so it was a disappointing visit. Both eyes are getting worse, if they gave grades, I would have been given an F on the eye exam, and on the visual field test. The doctor, and nurses kept asking me if I had cancer, I said no, why? They said the changes in my eyes were so dramatic from six months ago, that they thought I might be on chemo treatments. I said, so my eyes are really bad? They said, oh yes!! The eye that I had cataract surgery on back in August(right eye) has scar tissue on the implanted lens, and is swollen really bad. He is going to have to do laser surgery on it. The left eye is worse than the right eye, in the words of the doctor:the cataract is ready to pop, needs to be gotten out of my eye. Just a few months ago, he said there was no rush to get it out. But, now it is swollen really bad, and leaking in the back of my eye. I have a condition called macular edema. So, I came home, and had a major meltdown last night. I cried buckets of tears on dear Eddies shoulders, but I am ok now. God is with me, and leading my every step. Together, we will get through this. I love you my sweet friends.

First, HUGS!! ((((Hugs))))

Lord, that your healing power might flow over Denise's eyes....we know the discouragement that comes from living in these earthly tents, but also know your Divine touch has the power to change everything. Draw your daughter close and fill Denise with deep assurance, abiding love, and the riches of your grace to walk through this. Thank you that You've given her spiritual eyes to see truth, to see YOU. Thank you that You are our Peace, oh Lord. Be Denise's total peace this hour, for you alone are the Prince of Peace.

Denise, I'll keep praying....we went through aneuryms and heart surgery this past summer and the feelings hit hard, so that much I understand. Of course, each thing we face is so hard and individual, but I do know the Lord wants to be your ALL. Praying for healing and sustaining power! {{Hugs}}
