Happy Home Maker Monday

The weather outside is-64 degrees, and rainy. On The Breakfast Plate: strawberries and cream oatmeal, and hot chocolate. As I Look Outside My Window: the rain is falling down. Right Now I Am: busy, trying to get caught up on the computer.
As I Look Around The House: it looks like Christmas, love it. On Today's To Do List: do some cleaning around the apartment.

Happening This Week catch up on computer, do some reading, and crafts.

Currently Reading The names of God, Bible.

On The T.V. nothing

On The Menu This Week:
Monday--Salisbury steak, green beans, red cheesy potatoes, cornbread.
Tuesday-- fish, hush puppies, fries, coleslaw
Wednesday-- chicken strips, mac&cheese, corn, baked beans
Thursday -- smothered cube steak, augratin potatoes, navy beans, rolls
Friday-- tacos&burritos
Saturday-hamburger casserole, biscuits

New Recipe I tried:






  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Rinse pork chops, pat dry, and season with seasoned salt and pepper. Place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a separate small bowl, combine the onion, mushrooms and soup. Mix together well and spoon over the chops.
  3. Cover, and bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Uncover, and bake for 15 more minutes. (Note: Time could be less or more depending on the thickness of the chops.) Pork chops are done when their internal temperature has reached 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).

Sounds like You're a good cook,yummy.I have stopped cooking and Haven't cooked for 11years.I miss it at times but it's hard to start again. My Husband cooked for several Years then after My surgery 4 Years ago He stopped.Keep that beautiful sweet Christmas spirit in Your heart.Your tree is so pretty-Enjoy.Denise

I loved your thoughts today. I love Christmas and I can tell you do too. Your menu looks like a good one; yummy! I especially like your recipe; thanks for sharing. I do believe change is very hard most of the time. Your Christmas tree is lovely.
