Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. In two, or three sentences, tell us what Veteran's Day means to you? Honoring all of those, past, present, and future, who so willingly, put their lives on the line, to keep us safe. Bless them all.

2. What's your favorite film, with a patriotic theme, woven into the storyline? American Sniper

3. Flu shot-yes or no? If you answered no, do you plan to get a flu shot? If not, why not? Have you ever had the flu?Yes, I will be getting a flu shot, because I am a diabetic. Yes, I have had the flu before.

4. I've seen lots of people posting pictures of their Christmas trees up, and decorated. Many stores have had Christmas on display, since well before Halloween. Red cups are back at Starbucks, sans the holiday decor, and that, has some people up in arms. What are you thoughts on all the holiday ruckus, this second week of November? I think it is crazy. People truly rush the holidays. Why not, slow down, and actually enjoy the holidays.

5. What 'critter' are you most afraid of encountering unexpectedly? Why that one? Rats, they are my nightmare.

6. Do you like building things? What's the last thing you 'built'? I love building relationships, always trying to improve them.

7. In keeping with this month's theme of gratitude...what are you most grateful for, that brings beauty to your daily life? Family, and friends, nothing more precious.

8. Random quote.

Good morning...your link doesn't seem to be working today. It took me to a page that says link not found. I clicked on your blog header and got here today. If you want to go in and add a new link I'll delete the non-working. I tried to edit, but no luck. Just fyi! I think anyone who has had the flu gets the shot. It took me over a month to feel close to well. Not fun at all. Happy Wednesday!

I can tell you are good at building relationships, Denise. God's love shines through you!

As for rats, just the mere thought of them makes me shudder!

Hi Denise! I need to get a flu shot. I never used to get them, but I have for the past few years. I've had the flu too, and it kicks me right to the couch.
Rats? Oh man, I would not like that AT ALL. I'm not a fan of snakes either!
I share your thankfulness for family and friends. And for my husband, who is a Vet.
Blessings,
Ceil

I don't trust flu vaccines and I haven't gotten one in decades. Thank God I rarely get the flu. I have had a couple of rats as pets and am not afraid of them. My biggest fear would be large spiders and snakes! LOL! Love you, dear friend. :)

Love the fall photos on your sidebar! Beautiful! It seemed our colors here never got that bright this season...Building relationships - awesome! I didn't think of it that, but it's so true. Every relationship needs time and energy and a building of all those things that make it great. And the rules are great!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world. You do have a lot to be thankful for! I have a pacemaker due to an electric short that I was born with. Never knew it until I went thru divorce in 2000 and stress triggered it. Amazing what stress can do! No problems with it though - most of the time forget it is even there.
I am going to have to check out your blog closer...again thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoyed reading your answers. I'm with you on the rats and building relationships was a good take on that question. So many of us went down the track of building things.
