Wednesday Hodgepodge-Goodbye September

1. Something on your October calendar that makes you smile? I have fewer doctor appointments this month.

2. Food for the soul, or music for the soul...which camp are you in? Tell us why. Music for the soul, it can be so soothing.

3. What are two, or three things you've learned recently as the result of an online search? I have learned quite a bit about journaling, and sketching.

4. Share your favorite game day recipe. You can describe it, post the how-to, or add a link to the actual recipe. Sunset Dip-What You'll Need
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese  (about 4 ounces)
1 cup Pace® Chunky Salsa
1 package (about 12 ounces) tortilla chips

How to Make It

  • 1 Spread the cream cheese in a 9-inch microwaveable pie plate. Sprinkle with the Cheddar cheese.
  • 2 Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes or until the Cheddar cheese is melted. Top with the salsa. Serve with the tortilla chips.

5. What are your five essential steps for creating the perfect morning routine? Check my blood sugar, take a shot, take morning medications, make a nice cup of tea, eat breakfast.

6. What small thing have you taken note of today? How comforting, my collection of teddy bears can be to me.

7. Sum up your September in seven words or less. Doctor, Doctor, Doctor, Doctor, and more Doctors!!

8.  Insert your own random thought here. Sometimes, there are just not enough hours in the day.

Your Hodgepodge replies made me smile. I understand what you mean when you describe your month as being about "Doctors"! I know what that's like. I'm glad your teddy bears are a comfort and joy to you my friend. Hugs. xx

Love this, Denise! Great post. And I love October! (no, not just because it is my birth month - Oct. 27th), but because I love the root vegetables, the cooler temperatures, the changing colour of leaves. :)

Less doctor's appointments is a good thing. Music is a great choice. Your snack sounds yummy, I'll have to try it.
