Tuesday Afternoon

I wish with all of my heart, that everyone would realize, that God loves us all, as if there were only one of us. I am tired of people judging each other based upon the color of their skin, their place of birth, their age, their body size, their hair color, or length of their hair, or in my case, lack of hair. Their disabilities, their mistakes, the way they talk, ect. Come on people, snap out of it already!! Who are you to judge? There is only one judge, God. Are you perfect? No, none of us are. Why don't, starting today, you focus on being the best you, that you can be, and let the rest of the world, focus on being the best people that they can be. Point your finger at yourself, make some changes, before trying to change others!!

I completely agree with you :) If we were all the same life would be very boring.

Agree Denise! In fact The Message version of the Bible says it this way in 2 Cor. 5:16-20 "Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; He’s already a friend with you." as we are ~ Love to you sis... blessings and prayers, Peggy

Understand. For years I lived my life trying to please people. I was never quite good enough. As a Preacher's Kid, I was judged, condemned to help and looked down on just because I spoke my mind and stood up for what was right, not what was correct in the eyes of others. It's taken me a while to see that God views me as a precious child of His and the apple of His eye. So are you Denise. Remember that when life seems to knock you down. When I get really down on myself, I read Psalm 139. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made.

YES, dear Denise! How very true! I wish this were so, also. Love the new picture of you, sweet friend. May God bless you in every way. You will NEVER know what your faithful encouragement and comments on my blog mean to me. I can only trust that God will reward you abundantly, for He knows how much it means. I am praying for you and Eddie and believing God for both of your healings. Sending much love and many hugs to you. :)

Well said, Denise!
Looking after our own selves should keep us busy enough that we don't have time looking into the lives of others.

Enjoy the remainder of your week.
Joy! Debbie

I hear you and I agree. It is especially concerning when Christians do not love others for Christ created us all. We are all at a different stage of our walk and development. Bless you dear heart. xx

I couldn't agree more. I think that is the reason why so many Christian's are pulling away from churches. We need much more love in this world and much less judgement.

Hi Denise! I love the way you cut to the chase! Yes, we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. Our differences make us interesting, not a reason to pull apart.
I have to do a reality check on myself daily, because I don't always act the way I should. But I know I want to!
Blessings,
Ceil
