God-Who He is-El Shaddai

The world is a mess, God does not seem able to take care of everything. Do you ever find yourself thinking this way?  If so, please read Genesis Chapter 17.  God tells Abraham, 'Serve Me faithfully, and live a blameless life, and I will make you, not the father of just one nation, but a multitude of nations. Generation, after generation. Ever sing the song in Sunday school called Father Abraham? I loved that song. Father Abraham had many sons, and many sons had Father Abraham. You are one of them, and so am I. Such true words. God said, 'I will always be Your God, and the God of your descendants after you. God performs what He promises to perform. El Shaddai-God Almighty

Great devotional, Denise. Loved this line: "God performs what He promises to perform." Well, a big AMEN to that!

Just thinking the other day how much injustices prevail it seems all around me...But I trust that His true justice will come. What I need to do is to truly be living my life the way He wants me to... Blessings and love to you sis.

We know God is able. It's those in the world who mess things up. We need God. Thank you, Dear. :) Love you. And your new look is so pretty.
