I am sorry

Hello my dear friends, pray your weekend is going well. I have been sharing a lot about my marriage, and my life, recently here on my blog. If that has bothered anyone, or offended anyone in anyway, I am truly sorry. That was not my intention at all. I have always been a very open person, and choose to share my feelings. I am not seeking attention, or sympathy. I pray that by sharing my trials, it might encourage someone who is going through their own trial, to keep on going, never give up. We all have our burdens to bear, but, it can be easier if we all pray for one another, and help carry one another's burdens. There have been a few of you, that have said to me, why don't you go to church? Please try to understand my situation. I have begged Eddie over and over, to go to church. He refuses to go, and does not want me to go without him. I cannot drive myself due to being legally blind, and I do not have friends to give me a ride. If you were in my situation, you would understand. Instead of judging me, say a prayer for me, please.

This is your blog. Vent, share, gripe. I do on mine. If people don't like it, they can stop reading it...

Thoughts and prayers continue. Find peace in our Lord, Denise - as I know you do. Let Him fill all those empty places that you're dealing with now.

GOD BLESS!

I think some people just want you to find stregnth in others. I'm sure there are negative ones too when my dad was going through cancer I had a few too. If they don't want to stand by you or support you while you are walking in the valley then really they can choose not to read. Keeping you in prayer! Amy

LIke another before me, I say this is YOUR blog and you can say whatever you choose to say. Others can choose not to read it if they are offended. I for one, am not offended and what you say let's me know what to pray for. God bless and keep you. xx

After reading your previous post, about the stroke, which I didn't know about and now that you have no friends who can take you to church, I am getting worried about you. It's pretty obvious that your husband suffers from misplaced anger and needs some help. If he doesn't pray and ask the Lord for help to overcome this, I am worried. I guess my faith is not as strong as yours and I would seek help in addition to prayers.

I think it is great that you are sharing here and I hope you know that my feedback is coming from a good place, from my heart. I think your husband needs someone to talk to. He is angry because you had a stroke, not at you, but at the circumstances he finds himself in. That can not go one forever. Something will break one day.

I am with the queen up there;) It's a sad day when you can't vent, gripe, and share with your friends. Share away whatever is on your heart. I do pray for you and continue to.

Evening Denise, My heart goes out to you and your situation. Even though God is in control with the prayers for Eddie....he gave us our life to make choices. You are convinced you do not have any choices in your life, or marriage. That is a lie from Satan. I do not believe people are judging you, they want to help you with answers. God has the answers but he will NEVER force someone to serve him. You are a very sweet, kind hearted lady who loves the Lord with all your heart!! I pray things will change for you soon...Blessings and keep smiling~~~love, Roxie

Hi sister. I understand those who tried to give you advices. I know many loves you knowing how honest you are post after post and have gotten to know more about you. But just like them, it is only you who knows what's best. I know bro. Eddie as a sweet husband from the past posts. And I continue to pray for the Lord to guard and change his heart. I agree with your prayers and know...only God can give you the best discernment. Love and prayers.

Denise, you post to your heart's content. I agree with you. It's good to share our burdens and in hopes that others would have compassion and pray. Like you said, you're not seeking attention. I post in hopes that my journey would reach someone with similar journeys so they will be encouraged. However is complaining... stop reading this blog and move on if it bothers you. Nobody said you have to read it. Denise, you know I'm praying for you. I even requested one of my Bible Study groups say a prayer for you... and they did!

Sis
Are they judging you or are you afraid that they are judging. Sometimes the fear of what others may think of us is more painful than what any reality may be.
God give us free choice, will and you state your choice. Hardness of heart can cause folks to act in ways that stun us.
Perhaps Eddie is so angry at God, the very God you adore for allowing this trial to suffer you. Perhaps that provokes a response based in that anger.
When anger gets deferred or redirected targeted at a beautiful soul like yours confusion reins.
Do you ever admit to him your anger at having the stroke? Maybe he needs some permission to be angry at God. God can handle it, the greatest healing often comes through allowing ones self ones own humanity. And allowing and encouraging others to have their own.
