Five Minute Friday-Here

Here is where I want to be. Here is where I choose to be. Ups and downs, yes, we have had our share of those. So many, at times it felt like we were living on a rollercoaster!! But, rollercoasters can be fun, even with all those curves!! I love holding my hands way up in the air, as we go up and down, on the rollercoaster of life. Look, no hands over here, woo hoo!! My lovebug makes life fun, regardless. The hard times, the sad times, the bad times, are all worth it. Because, at the end of it all, we are here, together, forever!!

I mentioned roller coasters in my post, but I want off of this one. I like the way you choose to look at life. Stopping in from Five Minute Friday.

I think you have popped by my blog before. I'm a part of Lisa Jo's link up on Fridays also. I love that we are on this ride with so many other Believers. I had a post about roller coasters on my blog recently too! http://graceglimmers.wordpress.com/2013/03/11/roller-coasters-define-reality/

Love this idea of holding your hands up a screaming for joy on life's rollercoaster. Sometimes that is the last option we would choose. We can be too concerned with shutting our eyes tight and putting a death grip on the bar. (Happy belated 28th anniversary - Woo Hoo!!!)

Nice job! I had to read several of your posts after being sent here for the first time. I understand completely why you were mentioned on Lisa-Jo's Five minute Friday post today. You do seem to be a natural leader with a positive attitude. Fantastic!
Oh, and Happy 28th Anniversary!

i like that you put a twist on the metaphor of life as a rollercoaster, adding an image of enjoyment, while withholding the image of fear the metaphor usually brings with it. beautiful post.

also, happy anniversary! :)

Trials...that's what makes us appreciate the triumphs even more... That's what helps us appreciate the littlest blessings...That's what makes us stronger as each piece of this world is taken away...Be strong in the Lord's mighty power.Hugs and prayers always.

I am scared of roller coasters.....I don't like the way they make my stomach feel...perhaps it is because I can't control what happens. Nice analogy as life is just like a roller coaster you can't really control the dips and turns. Just gotta strap on your seatbelt and enjoy the ride. Looking forward to being the throw-my-hands up kind of girl like you:)!

Blessings and thanks for visiting my blog!!!

Cool Words. Thanks for sharing. Love the arms up in the air, and why not! Much easier when we surrender anyway. Happy Weekend.

It is so very good to be in a place where you feel freedom in the ups and downs of life - you portray this beautifully in your post! I loved seeing that you got a special mention in Lisa Jo's post today - when I read her words about you I smiled and nodded, having been on the receiving end of your encouraging comments. Thank you for your words!

I'm on a bit of a roller-coaster right now in my own life. It's a bumpy ride, but I'm sitting next to Jesus. He likes to ride with His hands up in the air, too!!

Wheeeee!!

I couldn't agree more, about life being a rollercoaster of joys and sorrows. You're right too, that it's all worth it.

What a beautiful post. You pour your heart into your work.

(Lifted your prayer request up this morning too. Hope you enjoy His peace that passes understanding this weekend.)
