Doctor Visit

Yesterday, Eddie and I both had Doctor appointments with the gastroentologist. His name is Dr. Collins, he is Eddie's Dr. and now my Dr.  Eddie had a check-up, got a really good report. Praise God. He goes back in three months for another check-up. It was my first visit with Dr. Collins. Recently, I have been experiencing alot of nausea, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and a horrible taste in my mouth, as if I had been eating scrambled eggs. Yuck!! The nausea is really bad, constant. Just like back in 2011. Dr. Collins sent me for alot of lab work, and scheduled me for a endoscope on Friday, May 10th. Please pray that he will find out what the problem is, and be able to help me. Have been sick all day today with horrible nausea. Take care everyone, love and blessings to you all.

Hi Denise, I will keep you in prayers for the endoscopy to go well.
I had this done in 2011 and they found my esophagus to have been narrowing because of scar tissue. This was caused by being allergic to an antibiotic that irritated the area. Anyway, they did a ballon dilation to open the tube and I did lots better and now have to be very careful, take some meds when needed and watch what I eat. I hope they find nothing for you, but if so, I pray it will be manageable and nothing serious.
God Bless you and yours.

Hugs, Celestina Marie

Ugh! I had one of those endoscope exams back in October 2012. You shouldn't feel any pain during the process, though after the medications wear off, you'll have a sore throat for a few days.

I certainly hope that you don't have what I've got, though the symptoms sound familiar. I will keep you in my thoughts dear friend.

You will be in my prayers and I am happy you are seeing a physician for this.

Oh my precious sister. How I pray that God works His miracle of healing in your life. There is just too much going on with you - and I feel so bad about that. Praying that the new doctor will find some answers.

GOD BLESS!

Sorry to hear this Denise. Do you take anything for nausea? I take phenegren (sp?). It really helps.

I'm praying the doctor will be able to get to the bottom of this so that you might experience some relief.

Prayers also for the grief you carry in your heart regarding your mother. I know this has been a tough week for you.
