Project Me

Hello my sweet friends, pray you are all doing well. As for me, I have my good days, and bad days. But, God is always with me, so He makes all my days better. Guess what? I am so excited about this. I have always wanted to run in a race, but, I never have. I love to walk, and that is what I have always done. Every year, my favorite christian music station here in Chattanooga, J-103, has a two day music fest with some fantastic christian music artists. The first day, they always have a 5k run. This year, it will be on Saturday, June 1st. It is called "Run For God".  There is a book by that same title, it is a Bible study/training book. It helps train you to run in these races. Whether you already are a runner, or, like me, you have never ran in a race before, it gets you prepared in 12 weeks. I have ordered my book, and should be getting it within a week. I am going to start training, and on June 1st, drumroll please....................................................................., I will be running in my first 5k!!. Woo Hoo!! Please pray for me. I love you all.

Have I told you lately how much you inspire me?!

You go, girl.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us..." (Hebrews 12:1, ESV)

GOD BLESS!

WOW! So proud of you. Would love to see how the book trains you. I've never been a runner and don't know if I could now with creaky, popping knees.
