Project Me-Turning Lies, Into Truth

All my life, satan has filled my head with these words- You are not worthy of friends. You are not good enough to be someone's friend. You are unloveable. I was bullied all through school, satan worked through their mouths, and their actions. According to them, I was fat, ugly, worthless. All I was good for, was holding their coats, while they jumped rope. Doing their homework, giving them my lunch money, or my lunch, depending on what mood they were in. As I got older, guys did not like me, they liked my pretty friends. The lies from satan continued. You will always be alone, no one wants to be around you. Well, liar, liar, your whole body on fire satan!!!  Truth- Proverbs 18:24. . . there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

  1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
    What a privilege to carry
    Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
    Everything to God in prayer!
  2. Have we trials and temptations?
    Is there trouble anywhere?
    We should never be discouraged—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?

Take it to the Lord in prayer.
  3. Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
    Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
  4. Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised
    Thou wilt all our burdens bear;
May we ever, Lord, be bringing
All to Thee in earnest prayer.
    Soon in glory bright, unclouded,
There will be no need for prayer—
    Rapture, praise, and endless worship
Will be our sweet portion there.

I was greatly teased growing up, so I know the pain you felt. Whoever said that "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" - had it all wrong! Words can be deadly.

Don't listen to the lies, Denise. That is my challenge, too. But, we must get our worth from the Word, and from what He says about us, and did for us. To Him, we are worth everything.

And...I AM YOUR FRIEND, Mrs. Loveable!

GOD BLESS!

YES, SATAN is a LIAR!!! I agree with Cathy.....LOOK how many friends you have..and they ALL LOVE YOU!! Let there be no thoughts to the past..let it go...Satan you LOST! Keep your mind ahead and ALL the NEW and GOOD things coming your way....GOD has given you the strength and power...the same power that raised CHRIST from the dead, lives in you!! Looking forward to seeing what GOD has in store for you. Remember...FAITH without action is dead...LOVE and BLESSINGS to you!~~~~Roxie

I was bullied a little bit too, but more importantly my self esteem is not good, but Jesus is showing me my beauty. I feel in my spirit to tell you this of what the Lord told me today: "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name." - Revelation 3:8

Don't worry. Know that we have a huge Daddy and Savior <3 Jesus told me too, "Indeed, if you carefully obey him and do everything that I say, then I'll be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries..." Exodus 23:22

Jesus hates when someone tells me something mean. I feel His jealousy. He is a consuming fire and will devour you with His love, Hugs Denise to underlying wounds you have ♥

I'm so glad to call you my friend. I, too, experienced heartache at the hands of "friends." So glad for the love we share in Jesus, Denise. You are a treasure to me! Happy Valentine's Day.

Sweet friend (and I mean that from that bottom of my heart), the father of lies is no match for our Lord and King...as a daughter of the most high God, you are part of a family whose ties are bound with a love so strong, that all of hell can not break them...
