Are you afraid Denise? Do you feel like you are losing it? Do you think you are not the woman you were before your strokes? Do you feel like you are totally alone? Do you feel like you are slipping away, and no one even notices?? Well, guess what, your thoughts are absolutely correct, you are slipping away, and there is not one person that is taking notice, or that cares one little bit. So, go on, be gone already!! signed, "your friend" satan Am I afraid? Yes, at times I am, we all have those times in our life. Honestly, at times, I do have those thoughts you mentioned. But, I realize , those thoughts come straight from you, and you are the father of all lies, and nothing but a Loser!! So, take your evil little ugly troll self back to hell where you belong. "your enemy", and daughter of the King(Who, by the way, is your worst nightmare!!)Denise

Great encouragement to turn that "afraid" around and call it what it is!
Your post totally reminds me of this verse:
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8

It's so true, the father of lies tries to use our fears against us by weaving deceit into them. And like Christ did in the desert when Satan tried to tempt Him, we must also rebuke Satan with Truth. To battle our fears with Light.

You'll find your way through this, as long as you decide you need to look at everything in different light and be satisfied with that. You can't change the stroke, or the way people treat you now, but you can decide 'your new normal' and they will eventually come along with the new you.
