Where I am, and where I am going

At this moment in time, I am marinating. I feel as if I am stewing in my own juices. The juices are sour, and not very tasty right now, unhealthy. But, the good news is, God is busy pouring precious healing herbs all over my life. He is constantly stirring the pot, watching closely over me. He will not let me burn, or waste away. Instead, He will daily improve me, until I become a very healthy dish. Thank You my Master Chef.

I feel your pain. I'm also going through a terrible season with multiple illnesses that are causing me many challenges. It's not always easy to "hang on," but I"m trying. Maybe we can pray for each other to get through these rough waters together.

Blessings! :)

Your header quote is perfect . I think my husband Frank feels the same as you about the marinating. He is dealing with so many serious life threatening health issues beside the need for a heart transplant. He looks ahead....and invisions a healthy body and spirit. Prayerfully thinking of you. Dee

I love the imagery of this. Most of the time I feel like a Crock-Pot myself.

But, I just have to tell you, Denise - I think God has created one of His best treats when He decided to *cook up* YOU!!

GOD BLESS!

I love your analogy! Marinating brings out the best taste, infuses you with His goodness and healing oil, and prepares you for the cooking fire of perfection. And yes, God heals!

Happy New Year my friend. I do pray that God blesses you with improved health and strength and the peace that only He can give.

It is wonderful to see your faith in Him despite the 'stewing'. He must be cooking up something wonderful.

May you marinate in the love coming to you through the screen. Marinate in His love. The longer the marinating, the better the outcome:)

Amen! Marinate and soak my precious little sister! How I wish I could help you and take all this away!!! Hold you and let you rest, Denise!

...if I could, I would take all your troubles, and heartaches far away. you would never be bothered by them again. unfortunately, I cannot do that. but, I know someone who can, my Father. so, I will forever continue to raise you up before His throne. I love you dearly.

Do these words sound familiar? It's what I feel too! How cute the way you wrote this but I know that you are seeking humor to relieve the pressure and pain. May His Presence lift the weight and bring you a miracle of healing in Jesus'name! You too are constantly in my prayers and so often on my mind and always in my heart. If only I could decrease
your pain, I would but we know the One who can. You pray about my little health issues when you know how BIG yours are in comparison, and this makes me so small, but humbled by your heart and prayers! Many blessings as you are stirred, soak but don't burn or waste away, or stick to the pan or pot only to Him!

Love you so much! I can see your faith increasing the more you speak things forth as we'd like to see them and feel them, breathe in and out! Relax in His Presence every moment!
