Thankful Thursday

Hello, what are you thankful for today? I am thankful for hard times. Deep down in the valley times, sinking in the sand times. You know why? Because those hard times have, and continue to, mold me into the person that I am. They make me have to dig down deep inside of myself, throw out the junk that satan throws at me, and gather the strength, that God pours into me. I am not a defeated piece of garbage, like satan wants me to believe I am. I am a daughter of the King, which means, I am a princess. My crown might be crooked at times, but my heart is following the straight and narrow path. I wander off the path sometimes, and get lost. But, my Father always finds me, and brings me back home. Father never said my life would be easy, but, He did say, He would always show me a way out of my troubles. Oh, the lessons I have learned, from the trials I have been through. Thank You Father. You are a wonderful teacher.

Well said....I thank GOD for the valleys, I may not like them but it is there in my weakness, that I am made STRONG! Thank you Father, for you know everything about me, you know how to take me and mold me on the potters wheel and make me perfect in your image. Have a blessed week and my prayer for you is GOD gives you the WORD that absorbs into your husbands heart this Sunday. Thank you, LORD for you are breaking down strong holds for your daughter Denise. It is the difficult times that endear us to one another, and especially to God. I agree, He is an excellent teacher. He is so faithful with new mercies each day. We are learning to trust Him more.

Sometimes it is so hard to bring ourselves to be thankful for the hard times, for the trials. But you are so right -they do strengthen our faith in God because we begin to realize that there is nothing to hard for God.

Blessings!!!

yes...that is how I feel today. so discouraged, and I know that is not from God. I guess faith really means trusting in God even when life doesn't make sense.

I think we've all been lost at one time or another in life. Some, remain lost over the years, never to find their way Home!!

Amen...as I read this post, a song from my teens came immediately to mind:

"He leads me beside still waters,
somewhere in the valley below.
He draws me aside to be tested and tried,
but in the valley he restoreth my soul."

Praise the Lord!
