Five Minute Friday/Roots
Lord, recently I have been digging deep down in my life. Things are changing at a fast pace. So fast, it truly makes my head spin sometimes. The winds of change daily blow through my life. Every since I had my stroke, life has not been the same. The familiar is becoming very unfamiliar. Those things that were rock solid in my life, are suddenly crumbling. Voices that use to calm and soothe me, now scare, and hurt me. I could just give up, totally quit this life. Go sit in the corner, and let satan complete his work of destruction upon my life. No way!! I will never let satan win, he was, is, and will forever be, a loser!! Lord, You created me, I am deeply rooted in You. You are my clinging vine, I am Your branch. You keep me strongly rooted Lord. These storms in my life may cause me to become uprooted, but, I will always remain connected to You Lord.

That you know your place in Him, that you know His love and care in the midst of storms. This is my prayer for you. In these trials, may you feel the unending mercy and grace of God pour over and keep you. And may His healing touch wrap you like a child, His child.
Thankful today that God is strong and that we can be deeply rooted in Him! Stay in Him.
You know Him and you will stay rooted, no matter what it feels like at the time. I will be praying that you feel His presence with you as you walk through these things.
Beautiful, we must cling tightly to Him despite not understanding the circumstances.

Look within. You are not crumbling. You know the truth. You know that there is not anything that can separate you from the Power & Presence, the Divine Intelligence {GOD} that orchestrates all.

Praying strength for you...The first lesson I learned as a christian was to pray Lord change ME. How I would react to people and circumstances. It brought me peace. I left everything and everyone else in the Lords hands.

I realize I only know small snippets of your story through what you've so candidly shared in your posts, but our God and Father knows everything you need before we ask.
I join with you and the incredible women I see and hear support you (comments)in this very real, unseen battle for allies in the spiritual realm. You and we are on God's side! Yet we know war rages invisibly for want of "friends" of the Enemy.
God I pray for You to protect Denise and fortify her Eddie against the Enemy through the faith-shield , truth-sword,and believing-prayers of his committed wife. Incline Your ear to us, God, who can immeasurably-more do all things. How we praise You! In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
