The Apostle Paul went through just about everything
imaginable. He was beaten, stoned, shipwrecked, and spent months in jail. Paul
preached the gospel with a literal price on his head. However, Paul was able to
continue, not by his own force of will, but by the power of Christ that gave Him
strength.
We all face times when we think we just can’t make it.
Today, your husband may experience some challenges and problems where he may
feel completely overwhelmed. Isn’t it great to know that Christ is his strength?
We can’t do anything by our own strength, but when we draw on the power of
Christ, we can face our greatest challenges with confidence.
Today, let’s pray that eddie draws upon Christ’s
strength and power in him to face the struggles and challenges of the day. Pray
that he won’t rely on his own strength, but on the
Lord’s.
Father, I ask that eddie will not live by his strength
today, but will draw upon the power of Christ that dwells within him. I claim
the promise that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him. As he
faces the problems and challenges of the day, I pray that he will rely
completely on your strength and power.
In the Name of Jesus,
Amen
eddie, today I am praying the promise of Philippians 4:13 for you. You can do all things through Christ who is your strength. I am praying that you won’t try and tackle the problems and challenges of today with your own power, but will allow Christ to be your strength. love, denise

Aww love that!! I know my poor hubs goes through a lot at work!!
I'm thankful for my husband, Denise. He has a lot on his plate right now and a lot of folks counting on him. These are stressful times in our ministry lives, so today, I'm being more intentional about praying for him . . . for God's strength, wisdom, patience, and peace to be his portion as he travels throughout his day. Thank you for this prompt.

This past week I've really felt the strength that can only come from the Lord. He is faithful. May God bless you and your marriage.
