Day 10-Praying For My Husband

“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” - James 1:5 (NASB)

There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge has to do with facts and skills; wisdom has to do with knowing how to live, and what to do with knowledge.

God has promised that if we need wisdom, all we have to do is ask. It may be a simple promise, but so few of us take advantage of this promise. All of us need God’s wisdom in our daily life. How many problems could we avoid, if we just looked to God for wisdom?

Solomon became king when he was still a young man. God came to him and offered to give him anything he requested. Imagine the opportunity! He could have asked for power, or for all his enemies to fall before him. He could have asked for riches, but he asked for wisdom. God honored his request and because he received wisdom, he became one of the most wealthy kings of history. The secret of his success was wisdom from above.

Today as you pray for your husband, pray that God will give him wisdom beyond his years. Ask God to place a hunger in his heart for wisdom that only comes from God. As he walks in wisdom, he will experience new levels of blessing and success.

Father, I pray that You will give eddie Your wisdom. I pray that He will walk in Your wisdom and not trust in his own thinking. You have promised that if we lack wisdom, You will give it freely. I pray that You will fill eddie with Your wisdom today.

eddie today I prayed for God’s wisdom to be released in your life. God has promised that if we need wisdom, all we have to do is ask for it. I know you need God’s wisdom as you deal with the various issues you face today. Ask God for wisdom, and He will give it to you. Thank you for all that you do for me. Love denise.

I read most of your prayers for your dear husband. I know that your prayers will be answered because you are a beloved daughter of a Heavenly Father. The Savior will walk this path with you.
Just a quick thought! I think maybe your dear husband is going through a grieving process. Grieving that things are not as they were. I believe he loves you deeply and is lost at how to help you. I think he is angry. The stages of grief are not just for death they are for all of life's hard things. These stages can go back and forth for a while until acceptance comes. Your prayers for him are beautiful.
Blessings and hugs!

Timely post for me coz I am dealing with a situation where I work that I need wisdom from God how to deal with it. And it is quite frustrating to be given work load that is over my body and soul can take. Should I quit the work that I love or should I continue until my body gives up?
Anyway, your prayer for Eddie is a prayer I should pray for my hubby too.
Thanks for the word today. I really neeeded it and you are God sent. Bless you Denise. I will ask God for wisdom. Happy sunday and Sonday:)
