"No temptation has overtaken you but such as is
common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond
what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also,
so that you will be able to endure it." - 1 Corinthians 10:13
(NASB)
It is no secret that every day we are faced
with temptations. Now, we are not talking about temptations like our
favorite-calorie laden dessert, but temptations that if followed, bring damage
to ourselves, to others, and our walk with God.
Every day custom made temptations are brought
into your husband’s life.
This verse show us several things. One, we are
all tempted. Second, God only allows temptations in our lives that we can
overcome. And third, when we are tempted, God has made a way to escape
it.
Today as you pray for your husband, claim this
verse for him. No matter what temptation comes his way today, God has made a way
of escape so that he can have victory.
Just like the emergency exit chart on the back
of a hotel door, God has made an escape route for every temptation that comes
his way today. He can overcome the temptations as he submits his life to God and
looks to Him for the escape route.
Father I pray that eddie will see that he
is like everyone else. Today temptations will come into his life. I pray that he
will see these temptations for what they are - an attack of Satan. Remind him
today that You have already provided victory over the temptation and have
provided a way of escape. Help him to submit to You today, and look for the
escape route that you have provided in every temptation.
In Jesus Name.
Amen
eddie, today I am praying that when a
temptation comes your way, you will remember that you are no different than
anyone else; we are all tempted. I am praying that you remember that God has
limited the temptations in your life to those that you can overcome with His
strength. I am also praying that when temptations come your way today, you will
see the escape route God has provided so you can have victory over the
temptation. love, denise

Thanks for the reminder, it's always good to pray for strength to fight temptation.
You are a sweet and loving wife. Also a sacrifical wife to uphold your husband in prayer when your heart is breaking. Don't LET IT BREAK...just give it to Jesus for safe keeping! ♥♥♥
