Something About That Name

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. There is just something about that name. Amen, that name, is the name above all names. Everything will pass away, but that precious name will remain. When I am down, and oh so very weary, the sound of that name, can always revive my soul. When I am sick, which unfortunately, is quite often, calling upon that name, is the best medicine ever. Calling upon that name in intensive care, when I had my stroke, brought healing to my brain. Crying out that name through my tears, brings relieve, and restores my joy. The greatest name ever, and the one, I will forever call upon. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!!

I love that old Gaither song (Something About That Name). It's powerful & promising; and often the only thing we can cling to when dark times set in.

To think one day that every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. That great name will resound around the universe like never before. Wow.

My mother and I had a 9 year seperation, from my age of 14-23. When we were reunited, we sat at her piano for hours at a time, singing and this is one we sang ALL the time. . .Jesus, Master, Savior. . .there's just something about that name. Precious redeemer and restorer!

sorry I've been so lax in visiting lately, but I want you to know you're in my thoughts. It's just that this genealogy research is keeping me from visiting my friends as often as I would like.

I love the name Jesus. The more I'm about his business the more I realize I need him, his name, and spirit. What a precious reminder. I'll be singing the song as I drift off to sleep tonight. Thanks friend.
