On Your Heart Tuesday

Hello everyone, sharing my heart today with you. I went back yesterday for my follow-up appointment with my eye doctor. After dilating my eyes, examining them, and doing two different types of eye tests, then Dr. Bond walked in the room, and talked to me. He said he was very concerned about my eyes, they are not doing well at all. My normal vision is 20/200, which is legally blind. I have glasses, but cannot wear them, because I cannot see out of them. Well, right now, my vision is worse than 20/200. It is actually close to being 20/400 right now. Crazy!! He wants to see me back in his office on July 19, sooner if I have any more episodes of totally losing my sight. Yes, that has happened twice recently. When I go back in July, there will be more testing. Am I afraid, or nervous? Duh, of course I am. This is my sight we are talking about. But, I am keeping the faith. God is watching over me, staying close by my side. Deep in my heart, I do not believe that the precious One that gave me my sight, would allow it to be taken away from me. If that should happen, now, or eventually down the road, I will accept it.  Whatever God chooses for my life, I will accept, and continue on. Because, God is , and will always be, my true vision. Thank You Father God.                       Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best thought by day, or by night
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light
Be thou my wisdom, and Thou my true word
I ever with Thee, and Thou with me, Lord
Thou my great Father, I , Thy true daughter
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one
Riches I heed not, nor man's emptly praise
Thou mine inheritance, now and always
Thou and thou only, first in my heart
High King of heaven, my treasure Thou are
High King of heaven, my victory won
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun
Heart of my own, heart whatever befall
Still be my vision, O Ruler of all

Blesssed be the rock of our salvation. I'm standing with you, Denise. I have macular degeneration and could possibly lose my sight. It's in the very early stages, DH's left eye had the same thing but a lot worse than mine. We will just pray for each other.

Oh, sorry about your eyes. I can't imagine without them coz my passion is reading and not seeing the world around me is unthinkable. But my father was blind and deaf since I was born and we were his eyes. So, I know how was it to be one. But, you have God with you and he will be with you. He is the greatest healer of all.
