Are You Hungry?

Are you hungry my friends? If so, open your Bible, and proceed to eat upon the Word. It is great for your heart, and soul. Are you thirsty?  Again, open up your Bible, and drink from the Living Well, you will never be thirsty, or dehydrated again. Soak it up.  It will revive you, and give you more power, than you ever thought possible. God's Word, is the healthiest plan for your life.

Such good advice! Nothing better than taking in the Word of God into our hearts and minds. I also love going to Him in prayer...It feels so good to give our burdens over to Him.

Have a blessed day, Denise! You're right. Our souls get fed from God's WORD. Such a good reminder for every busy believer!

“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. (Is. 55:1)

"...but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” (John 4:14)

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
...I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” (John 6:35,51)

Didn't mean to take so much space but you stirred a lot of Word.

(funny thing - the word verification to post this comment is vicarr - like Vicar)

Ohhh blessings Denise...

Hungry? Thirsty? Munching and chewing on the Bread of life...how sweet your encouragement here to press on and be fed!!! You share wise advice here...

I read a devotion from Joseph Prince about a cow chewing and chewing his cud and that's how we should be.
The cow, he was speaking about was higher up than the other ones down in the valley, and Prince seemed to be saying the more you rechew and digest what you read the HIGHER UP YOU GO!

So keep on chewing my dear sis... and we will be even more healthy than the valley seekers. Rise up Beloved and be strengthened in Him!

Love you so much,
Peggy
(working my way back through your posts... hopefully you've posted any comments I sent)... (((hugs)))

I've been spending long amounts of time in the Word in the mornings. In particular, I started the year with Matthew's Gospel. I plan on lingering there for a while longer. I see new things every time I read it!

Keep eating and drinking the Word, sister. It's the best way to feed our souls.
