Miracle Monday

Today, I would like to share what I consider a true miracle, and answer to prayer, my relationship with my dad. I have shared on my blog, the events leading up to my birth. My dad did not want me, I am actually an abortion that did not work. My parents thought it had worked, until my mom felt me kick. My dad never wanted anything to do with me, and he was never in my life. Well, at the end of last year, my dad gave his life to the Lord. Praise God, now he calls me, comes to see me, and visits my church, and I visit his. We have a close relationship, that I have always prayed for. Now, i have my heavenly Father, and my earthly father. I am so blessed by this precious miracle. I love both my heavenly Father, and my earthly father, very , very much.

God makes all things new! Praise His name for this blessing He has bestowed upon you. You know though as I read this short post today I thought...it wasn't that your dad didn't want YOU. He was afraid of a pregnancy of A CHILD...not YOU specifically. He lacked faith that all would be well. He did not have the resources of the Holy Spirit to face the challenge before Him but it was not a specific rejection of YOU personally...and now...so so good sister! I am so happy for you!

That is truly a miracle, Denise, in so many ways. God had a plan for you that man could not change. And, what a miracle that your dad found salvation, and through it, a relationship with you. How healing that must be for you... to no longer feel rejected by your earthly father. I got chillbumps just reading it! YOU are a miracle..
