Thankful Thursday- Changes

Hello my friends, praying your week is going well. Time for thankful Thursday, let the praises begin. Open your heart, and share your blessings. God is truly blessing me with some precious changes in my life. He has brought my dad into my life, which continues to bless my heart daily. We are now going to church together on Wednesdays, and Sundays. Praising the Lord with my dad and my lovebug, how awesome is that? God has changed the words that come out of my dads mouth, from words of condemnation, to uplifting words. All my life, dad spoke very harshly to me, cursed me constantly, never had a kind word to say to me. Today, we were talking about my lack of hair, I told him that I was sorry if I embarrassed him in anyway. He made me cry by the words he spoke. He said that nothing I could do would embarrass him, that I was his daughter, and he loved me very much. Praise God, my dad loves me, just as I am. I have waited all my life for this moment in time. God is so good to me, thank You Father, for bringing such beautiful changes into my life. I give You all the praise for all the days of my life. I love You.

Isn't it wonderful that we have a Father God that only speaks softly to us and hugs us when we do not want to talk at all...........

Your story brings tears of joy to my eyes and gladness to my heart, Denise!

I can't imagine what it is like to not have a loving father in your life but God knew the hurt and pain that he caused you. God in His mercy, grace and love for you...His daughter...changed your father and gave you the earthly father that you have longed for and needed your entire life. Your father is lavishing you with sweet words of love and praise to replace the painful words that once filled your heart. God is so amazing!

I am so happy for you, my dear friend!!!

Happy TT!

Hey Denise!
So sorry I missed your post about walking in Australia...not sure how that happened! It was a complete oversight. Glad to hear you didn't get trampled on by any kangaroos...they can be nasty sometimes! Where are you heading next...maybe Savannah, Georgia to see the one and only, Ms. Paula Deen...or how about all the way to the Grand Canyon? Going hiking there can be a real workout! I'm so proud of you...keep on moving, girl!
