Please Pray

Yesterday, when lovebug came home from work, I could tell something was bothering him. He was kind of quiet all evening, then he finally told me what was wrong. He waited to tell me, because he said he did not want to upset me, or worry me. He is always thinking of me, bless his heart. He got some very bad news at work, he will not work Feburary 16-20, March 2-6, March 16-20, or March 30-31. The rest of the time, he will only work four days a week. Please pray for us, lovebug is so worried, but trying hard not to show it. He said he feels like a failure, like he cannot provide for me. I hugged him close, and I told him to wipe those thoughts from his mind. He has always taken great care of us, and he will continue to. This is not his fault, things are hard financially for everyone right now. He said I always know how to make him feel better. He is sleeping right now, and I am sitting here crying like a baby. I love him so very much, I hate to see him hurting. Dear heavenly Father, please watch over my lovebug, bring peace to him. Help me to encourage him through this storm we are headed into. Cover us with Your loving hand of protection. We love You so very, very much. Amen.

Ohhh sweet Denise...as usual you shine Jesus to even Lovebug and then here you are broken in pieces
but you know where to turn and He's there, He cares, He hears, He knows, He is able, He PROVIDES just like you told Lovebug! Now believe it and confess this burden as too heavy for you two but not too heavy for God to carry with you!

Lord, Just bring Denise the strength she needs to continue to encourage her husband and wisdom to adjust their finances! Be their Provider & Sustainer! Bring them both comfort & peace in the midst of this difficult economic time!
Cover their finances & daily needs!
Bring abundant blessings often!
Keep both of them in Your Loving care & from all harm in good health and give them their daily bread! Bring prosperity & make this 4 day week bless their time together!
Direct each step & let them know that You are their Source...an everlasting one for wisdom & every good thing! Thank You for all of Your blessings upon them both!

Amen, Amen, Amen.
There is so much turmoil right now, unexplained, forced upon people, out of greed and sin. We Christians must not let the Evil one make us feel like failure, because our God is the Victor of Life. He has overcome the World, and so can we, because He has told us so.
I hug you, my dear friend, and dearly kiss your forefront. You are a dear child of His and He will provide for you and your loved one.
I love you.

Denise I so understand what you are feeling and my husband understands how your lovebug is feeling! We live every week not quite knowing whether Steve will be working the next week or not. It is so hard on most everyone these days (well except for the fat cats in the financial and auto industry, but I'm sure they deserve all that money). I'll be praying for you guys!

Denise, I began praying even before I finished reading. The devotion that you and lovebug have to each other and to the Lord is amazing. I have absolute faith that He will be faithful in His promise to provide your needs.

God bless you, friend, I love you.

Oh poor Lovebug. I so understand. We are facing layoffs at hubby's work too at the end of the month...just waiting for word. He is not alone. God will provide but it is such a hard road to walk. Prayers for both of you.

Precious Denise! I am so sorry Lovebug has been bitten by this disastrous economy. I pray for strength and courage for both of you - I often think there's no greater pain than seeing those we love in pain. We all love you and so does God - He always makes a way "where there seems to be no way". Love you!

My heart is breaking for you and Lovebug. As you might recall, Chris was unemployed for 6 very LONG months, but all the while, we never lost our faith that God would bring us through it...and He did! I trust and believe that God will do the same for you. What a blessing you are to each other! Keep the faith, sweet friend!♥

So many are being layed off, made redundant or having their hours cut. It is not a reflection on himself as a person.
Honey Bear and I know what it is like to live through difficult times. Remember you are rich in the things that matter and you are part of a royal family. Your Heavenly Father will provide.

Oh, precious Denise! My heart goes out to you and your lovebug! Times are hard for so many people but when it is you that is being hit and you watch your spouse take an emotional blow...that is so hard. The enemy wants to beat him up and pull him down emotionally. I come against those thoughts in the Name of Jesus...Satan, you are a liar and a loser (the battle has already been won)! Thank you, Jesus!!!

We were in the same situation a couple of years ago when my husband lost his job. It was so hard to watch him suffer the pain of feeling like a failure. God gave me the words of wisdom, just as He did you last night to encourage your husband.

God is our ultimate provider and you both have been faithful to Him...He WILL provide. He is Jehovah Jirah...our provider. Lay it at His feet and watch Him move in a mightly way in your lives.

I am covering you both in prayer, my sweet, precious friend!

I'm sorry to hear that. I will continue to keep you two in our prayers. It's wonderful that you support him and help ease his mind from thinking it's his fault or that he's a failure because nothing could be farther from the truth, but that's how our men think.

Your marriage is the picture of a Christ-filled life. Nothing hurts me worse than when my husband hurts (or my kids), so I understand your pain here. Will be praying with my whole heart today.

The heart of a man is to "cut it". He needs to often be reminded of that by God and by us that he is "cutting it". Making the measure of a man. When my Mr U. was out of work we saw great hard times of soul. This was a humbling and a lifting up of his heart and mind. It was a bit frightening at times too. My Mr U. did not believe in himself and that was a big part of the battle. I heard Suzi Orman say to go to a business that your interested in and tell them that you will work for free and then they can see how good you are. Perhaps Eddie can offer to work for free to his employer. This show of character may just excel him later when times return. I know his employer would never forget it!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart , Lean not to your own understanding, but in ALL your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.
Read Esters story again you need that type of wisdom in your wifery at these times. Where your honey will sustain him, it will be like a bee whisperer.

I will email you more later today... God's blessings upon you and Eddie (Hugs to both of you)

Love you always,

Dear Lord, I thank you that Lovebug has the desire and faithfulness to be used by You to provide for his house. Please help him to remember that You and not he is Provider, that You know the end from the beginning, that You have a plan for him more perfect than if he received those hours at work. Please give Shortybear the perfect words to build up her man in love. Thank You for Your great love for us. Please use hard times to refine us and make us more dependent on You, and to glorify Your Son Jesus in whose name we pray. Amen

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. ~ Isaiah 26.3

Oh Denise, I just love your heart. God is using your circumstances to bring glory to His name, but have faith, He will be with you all the way. He will provide everything you and your lovebug needs. You are glorifying God's name, He will turn back the favor.
I am praying for you right now.

Denise, God has heard your heart. He knew this was coming and He has already worked this situation out for you, trust in Him as I know you do. May God meet all your needs and continue to bring you and your husband His peace and comfort. May his hours at work increase and may God continue to show you He is the source, the job is only a means. Dear God bless right now. Jesus in your name we pray.

Dear Denise...my husband and I have been through similar situations through our 23 years of marriage and I know one thing: the Lord is faithful and will see you and Lovebug through. He is a blessed provider and He alone is our provider. Know that you are being covered by the prayers of so many and may you find comfort in that. ((HUGS))
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
Psalm 37:23-25
