Super Simple Sunday

Our Past is No more!
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1

God's Love - He first loved us
Jesus paid the price of forgiveness

* * * * *

If we have asked for forgiveness,
Our past failures have been wiped out, gone.
If a child was to always be asking do you still love me, we would be hurt.
If our mate constantly asks if we love them we are hurt, that they don't trust.
God is like that, He wants us to accept the fact that He Loves us!

God's love never stops!
It is Unconditional!
So why is it so often so hard to love ourselves?
God has forgiven us if we have asked
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12
We can never go east as long as we are going west,
same is true we can never go west as long as we are going east.

Oh my! That is more than forgiveness!

NO FISHING!!
Now if we have been forgiven it is no more. It is like dumping them in the sea and hanging a no fishing sign. Only lawbreakers fish in a no fishing area! So if ANYONE brings up our past to accuse us, they are in the wrong! - Including ourselves.

Use our past as stepping stones not stumbling blocks.
Every time we think of a past sorrow, replace it with a victory.
If we think of a time we blew it, say: "Thank you God for loving me anyway."
Or If we remember a failure, say: "Thank you Lord for using that to help me."
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. John 8:11 (it's written in red we have been forgiven!)

Oh my Denise...just profound thoughts & wisdom! You bless me immensely! From the start to the finish, from forgiveness with no condemnation to unconditional love:
the Cross of Jesus!Even a fishing trip with NO FISHING! LOVE it!

You have taken scriptures that I know so very well(head knowledge) and as Beth says...placed them from my head to my heart. I use to think the stuff in my heart had to get to my head! My heart is so tender & soft whereas my head is so thick & lately blocked up. I need to walk on the stepping stones not through my stumbling block(head)! May I step into His Throne room today & lay it all down!

Anyways, I pray that today is all you had HOPED with your dad & church!

You ended with my favorite Bible story! So, I receive & thank Jesus
for your message on SUPER SUNDAY!

I love that! No fishing! How often do we try to reel all the problems back in.

Have a blessed day today my sweet encouraging friend. I'm praying for you as you spend time with Love Bug and your 2 Fathers today... heavenly and earthly.
