Marriage Monday- The Sanctuary Of Marriage

Sanctuary: (N) (n.) A sacred and inviolable asylum; a place of refuge and protection; shelter; refuge; protection. When I married my dear lovebug, our hearts were forever fused together. Nothing can tear us apart, we are a team. My marriage is extremely important to me, and forever will be. The safest place for my heart, is within the sanctuary of my marriage. When the world turns cold and scary, as it often does, I just snuggle deep into the always open, warm, and very loving arms of my dear lovebug. Our marriage is a comfortable, safe, secure, very well built, made with 100% love and devotion, place of refuge for both of us. I praise God for being the builder of our marriage, and being a partner in our marriage. His input is what helps us to stay grounded, and faithfully committed to one another. Neither the fires of hell, nor the temptations of this world, will ever shake our sanctuary of love.

Isn't it neat to look at the definitions of sanctuary and realize when we have built such a refuge. Thanks for sharing.

I like the words used to describe your marriage: comfortable, safe, secure, very well built, made with 100% love and devotion, place of refuge.

That is so great!

I was so surprised to see this morning that I had won! I have never been to a Women of Faith conference so i was excited about it.

Girl...keep up the good work.
I have struggled so much lately in the marriage area....but I am learning. And when we reach the other side of this test....I am sure we will be all the stronger for it.
Thanks for the example you set for so many women.

Your post was such an encouragement!

I'm so glad you can run right to your Lovebug when the going gets tough! Hearing you describe the commitment you and your hubby share is so refreshing!

I pray that the Lord will continue to bless you and your family!
