Super Simple Sunday

Hang On or Turn Loose?
Oh, how those phrases are intermixed!
Depends on if we want to go up or down.
They can both be positive or negative statements.
We know to get a desired effect we have to do something!
~ ~ ~
Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Psalms 30:12-11

~ ~ ~
So to get this desired effect we have to turn loose of anger, resentment, hurt, disappointment, and anything else that weighs us down.

Trade Mourning for Dancing
If we stay angry, the thing we are angry at has control over us.
So we have the hard job, turn loose so God can set out heart to dancing. Take off sackcloth put on Gladness
If we stay in the filth of our self righteousness,
We are the ones shutting out God's gladness
I Promise if I can you can!

Thank God He is able to turn our mourning into joy. He is the strength of our heart and our portion for ever no matter what we have to go through in this pilgrim journey. We know one day we shall be with Him where there will be no more pain, sorrows or sufferings. Thanks for all your prayers and encouragements. You are in my thoughts and prayers too. Take care! Hugs.

Denise, just checking in from Pittsburgh before our last game. I love your blog very festive and wonderful music.
Whenever I am angry or upset I always ask God to create in me a pure heart and renew the right spirit within in me..... amazing how it works when you go humbly to the Lord He will do it you just need to ask!

The faith we have is quite simple, if not easy. I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving. Thank you for your faithful encouragement, Dear One.

Blessings Denise...I love you more each day I get to know you better also! Such words of wisdom and not just the scripture.

At first I thought the kitty was yours...I thought how Precious!

What a beautiful way to let go and let God! Best words: If I can you can...and so I will...I believe with God all things are possible.
I will turn loose anything negative because you are right it's unnecessary baggage & weighs us down.

I would much rather DANCE...is it the Shortybear dance? I love your new banner? All ready & pretty for
Christmas!!! Thanks for your part from your heart in making this a SUPER SUNDAY! Hang loose while you hang on and turn it over to Jesus!

Bravo. So true. Thank you for pointing out the truth. I have a friend who rages with anger. But I have to be careful to approach her. I try little by little to help her let go with out turning on me.

It's hard to realize that when you're holding on but it is so true, it really is controlling.

Thanks for visiting. Have a "happy first week of December!" I'll be praying for you this week.

Amen to that, Denise. If indeed we hang on to our anger, and other challenges, we loose focus on the more important things in life.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts...

Be blessed today and always...
