Super Simple Sunday

When Life Seems Too Hard
Remember God's Promises
Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall
be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight,
and the rough ways shall be made smooth;
Luke 3:5

Jesus Comes in the Midst of the Storm
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
Psalms 107:29

Amen I am standing on God's promises, please say prayers for me. I feel the Lord's presense and I know He is with me and my tears are of Joy because I am not carrying my burdens alone.

Blessings sweet Denise...after reading your thankful message and the sad news of the realities of the economic crisis...this Super Sunday of Jesus with outstretched arms and His Lighthouse means so much more to cling to His promises & trust Him. Your two scriptures bring much hope for this storm!

May He find a way to bless & save you from the "storm" that is impacting you & Lovebug! May God provide a solution & the finances to make it through Thanksgiving to Christmas & beyond! May a turkey fall out of the heavens & a few basic entrees!

Praying for a miracle in the job crisis for many~what a terrible time for this to happen! But I LOVE your attitude as always of gratitude! You are so right, we need to give thanks every day!

We just talked about this in church today!! How if we are tethered to Jesus, when a storm comes our way we will be able to withstand the winds and the waves, by His power, might and strength--not our own.

Beautiful, Denise!!
