Love Dare Day 17- Love Promotes Intimacy

He who covers over an offense, promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter, separates close friends. Proverbs 17:9 Today's Dare: Determine to guard your mate's secrets (unless they are dangerous to them or you)and pray for them. Talk to your spouse, and resolve to demonstrate love in spite of these issues. Really listen to them when they share personal thoughts, and struggles with you. Make them feel safe.: Today, lovebug and I had a really nice conversation. I assured him, that his heart is always safe with me. I told him to always know that he could share anything with me, I will guard his heart. He told me some things that are bothering him at work, we both felt better after sharing. Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for the feeling of security I have in my marriage. My husband guards my heart so well, may I forever guard his also. Amen

Don't you just love those times of closeness with your man?
I don't know that those times happen all the time...but when those times of special closeness take place it is almost like you feel you could take on the world.
Keep working it girl!

Draw them closer to each other and closer to You! It's so nice that you two could share! Guard each other's heart in all & trust in Our Lord to guard you both!

I get the impression from you that despite all of the wonderful things you have to say about your lovebug that your heart doesn't take him for granted for one minute. It's one of the things I've grown to love about your Shorty.

I just feel like saying, "Awwwwww!!" (you know how we ladies do that!)

I love sharing, and when the other person is understanding, loving us unconditionally--isn't it just wonderful!!

This is one of the MANY reasons that I love God--no matter what I take to Him--He will still love me--unconditionally--and He already knows already--just waiting patiently for me to take whatever it may be to Him.

Have a wonderful day, Denise!!

I needed this exhortation. Sometimes I do not do this as well as I should...teasing him in front of others. I confess that I need improvement. Thank you for these posts.
