Happy Thanksgiving

"This week, many of us bloggers have devoted a special post in which we are sharing our personal testimonies of the Lord's work in our lives and/or that of our families. Our collective prayer is that this sharing of our testimonies will not only encourage each other and give Glory to our Lord, but also show the love of Christ to those who happen upon our blogs. To enjoy many more testimonies, please visit us at "Giving Thanks on Thanksgiving. The link is http://www.themouthbehindthemoose.blogspot.com/ : This year has been filled with its share of heartaches, and happiness. I have seen my vision grow dimmer and dimmer, but I have seen my heart vision grow brighter. I lost my hair, but I gained myself. My heart has been physically sick, but emotionally and spiritually well, and happy. My diabetes has tried to take control of my life, but, when I am weak, God pours His strength into me, and helps me to continue the race set before me. I lost my big brother to diabetes on June 8th of this year, but my loss was definitely heavens gain. God blessed me by letting me be Charles' sister for 44 years. I will cherish the memories that were made, and look forward, to the new memories we will make together in heaven one day. I have watched as my sister, who is also a diabetic, has been battling kidney disease. God has been right by her side, carrying her through, and continues to strengthen her. I have seen my marriage grow stronger and stronger. There have been rough times, but that seems to be when we really shine. We always turn to God, and to each other in the hard times. We never turn away from each other, we stand together, so we will not fall apart. I praise You dear God, for this year of blessings that You have given to me. I love You. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

What an inspiring, anointed post. You have lifted my chin to thank Him. The first thing I'm going to thank Him for is your life, your testimony, and your gift of encouragement. Happy Thanksgiving.

You have expressed the true meaning of thanksgiving...not what we are or what we have but who we are because of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

You are an amazing woman, Denise! Through all the adversity, your faith continues to grow and overflow to all those who follow your blog.

When we are weak...He is strong.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Wonderful things happen when we praise the Lord in the midst of it all.

"No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise to God, Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised." Romans 4:20-21

God bless you, and keep praising Him.

Hi Denise, you are an inspiration and a blessing to all of us.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." (2 Cor. 12:9 NIV )

Oh, Denise, you are indeed the biggest encouragement on the Internet. I know you had a very rough year - with loosing family and with your health. Looking at you and your challenges made clear to me that my year was really not that bad...

Thank you for your continued encouragement on the Internet...
