Love Dare Day 11-Love Cherishes

Husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies.- Ephesians 5.28 Todays Dare: What need does your spouse have that you could meet today? Can you run an errand? Give a back rub, or foot massage? Is there housework you could help with? Choose a gesture that says, "I cherish you" and do it with a smile.: Today, after lovebug came home and took his shower, I filled up a pan with really warm water, took a washrag and soap, and washed his feet. Then, I emptied the pan, cleaned it, and filled it with warm water and some really nice bath oil. I put his precious feet in the oil, and told him to just relax, and let his feet soak. When the water started turning cold, I changed the water out. After the second soak, I dried his feet, and put lotion on them, as I massaged them. He looked so relaxed, and he said it felt so nice. I really enjoyed pampering him, and he enjoyed the pampering. Prayer: Dear Lord, may I always long for the heart of a servant in my marriage, as well as my life. To serve my husband is a blessing to him, as well as to myself. Thank You for all the times You served us Lord.

You are so sweet! When I feel better I will do that for my hubby. He does this for me when my feet are bad, but I need to do it for him as well. Every day he is on his feet teaching all day... they get so sore and tired! Thank you Denise for reminding me to do things for him as well....

Love you

This sounds like something that would be right up Keith's ally.
Keith loves having his feet or back rubbed.
Keep up the great job you are doing!
Love ya girl...thanks for checking in on me.

I think maybe God lead me to your blog tonight. My "love bug" and I have had been having some difficulties lately, but it seems we might be over the hump, just in time for anniversary #17 this coming weekend. I need to challenge myself more in our marriage, I know the blessings will be bountiful. Thanks!!!

I'm going to pick up that book today. Denise, I just wanted to thank you for your encouragement yesterday. You said that you love me and you know what? I believe you! I'll tell you what. Your hubby is NO IDIOT. Of all the women in the world to love, he chose you.

Denise,

I think nothing says "cherish" like a foot massage ~ ahhh. That's beautiful, my friend.

May the Lord continue to bless you and your lovebug. ((hugs))
