Miracle Monday

In March of 1993, I had to have sinus surgery due to severe sinus disease and nasal polyps. What should have been a fairly easy surgery, turned out to be anything but easy. During the surgery, I started having a really bad asthma attack, they had to put a tube down my throat. Things just kept getting worse, I actually quit breathing. They had to resuscitate me, I left this world for a short period of time. During that time, what I saw was beautiful. I saw a shining bright, very pure whiteness. I felt peaceful, and very calm. I also saw the hands of my best friend Leanna, that had passed away in January of that year. I could hear her voice, as her hands pushed me back, she kept saying that I had to go back, that it was not my time yet. She told me that I still had things to do on earth. At that point, I sat straight up, and I was crying. I was very sick, I began throwing up. I had to spend the night in the surgical intensive care unit, because my blood pressure was at stroke level. I was able to go home the next afternoon, praise God. My God has brought me through so many health crisis, and brought me back from deaths door. How could I not believe in Him, and the power of His love. Miracles are real, and I am living proof of that.

What a wonderful miracle! How exciting it must have been to be so close to heaven.

Praise God for his healing power!

This I certainly believe with all of my heart. My mother had about the same experience, but at that time she was not a Christian. She said that she saw big doors but they would not open for her...some 40 years later she accepted Jesus as her Savior...How cool!! Certainly I believe...God is just waiting for the best time for us to go home with him. Sandy

Wow. You really have been through so much. All that you have been through tells me that God really has a special plan for your life.

Denise,

Once again your post humbles me at the grace of our God and your unshakable faith in Him.

BTW, I did the Lies Women Believe at my church two years ago. It was great, but starts out kind of slow (most Bible studies I have ever done seem to be more for non-believers for the first couple of weeks and I always think, yeah, I KNOW this stuff, now feed me. By the end, I am usuallly humbled at what I am fed.)

KEEP BELIEVING

Found your blog through your comments on other blogs I visit. Wow! What a testimony! Amazing! I had a similar experience. Didn't see a light but felt my body separating from my spirit. I said aloud, "Where am I going?" I had no measurable blood pressure after spinal surgery. I knew that I was separating from my body and asked Jesus if I could finish rearing my boys first. It was SO real. Thanks for your testimony!
