In Spirit & In Truth

2 Corinthians 12:9 & 10
9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.“: These scriptures mean so much to me. When my health problems are at their worse, and my body is trying to really shut me down, it is then I feel the awesome power of God. He refuses to let go of me, and let me give up. He pours His strength deep into my weary bones, and revives me time after time. So, I will not moan and groan throughout my sickness, instead I will shout out to the world, that because of my God, I am made strong in my weakness. With God on my side, I will survive whatever comes my way.

Good Afternoon Denise,
"THANK YOU" for stopping by and I have been missing posting and visiting as well. It's just that my Family comes first and I need to take care of that area first. I am so weak myself when it comes to pain. I just don't like being in pain, but I know GOD in in control of it all and we just have to ask GOD for HIS help with the pain. I'm so sorry that people have been leaving you such awful comments on your thinning hair. That is just not right and it is hard sometimes to guard our tongue. We must also pray for those who make fun of us as well. I have learned from experience to never make fun of anyone because I have been made fun of my whole life nearly. It's not a fun thing and it does hurt really bad. I will continue to pray for you and pray that the new thyroid meds will work for you. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

"bear"ing with you sister in Christ. Isn't awesome that the same God who gives us the strength to get through the pain... also has the strength to heal us? Whatever comes your way. (via elizabeth embracing life)

Amen to that, Denise! Yes, sometimes we just want to 'throw in the towel' but He will continue to give us the strength to continue the path He has set before us.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this powerful Bible passage.
