Thankful Thursday-Prayer

Hello everyone, another Thankful Thursday is here, and that makes me smile. I appreciate Iris so much for hosting this. Prayer is such a beautiful gift that we all need to give to one another daily, we all need prayers. Big prayers, little prayers, our Father hears each one, and He answers them all. We may get frustrated because it seems as if He is not going to answer them, but hang in there my friends, He may not answer them on your time limit, but I promise He will answer them in His time. His time, is always the right time. Prayer is such an appropriate topic for me this week. I really need your prayers my friends. I had a Doctor appointment yesterday, it did not go very well. My diabetes is daily getting worse, I am having major problems with my stomach. I have a condition caused from nerve damage called gastroparasis, and possibly an infection also. I hurt so bad with terrible cramps, nausea, and bowel problems. I get sick everytime I eat anything. I am losing weight due to this condition. My doctor said my diabetes is so out of control, that she cannot do anything else to help me. She has made me an appointment with a diabetic specialist on March 6. I pray that she will be able to help me. I am now having to be on a liquid diet only, and that is how it will be, until my diabetes can get under control. I have put it all in Gods hands, the safest place to be. I know my Father is watching over me. Blessings to everyone, and much love. Remember, prayer is the answer to all of lifes questions.

Good Morning Denise,
I'm sorry to hear your Diabetes is getting worse. I will be praying for you my friend and that the doctor you visit on March 6 will be able to do something for you. But we all know who the one and only GREAT PHYSICIAN is. And like you said, this prayer will be answered in HIS time and not ours. And you are so right, we need to be praying for each other daily. We all have a need of some kind and we as friends should be praying for one another. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Oh Denise - I am so sorry to read that your diabetes is so out of control.

Lord of Heaven and Earth. I come humbly before you to lift up my sweet sister in Christ. Lord, put Your healing touch on Denise today so she might be able to rest a little. Lord, give wisdom to the specialist so Denise might be pain free soon. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen

I am praying for you today, my sweet friend, as I always do, but I am asking that the Lord give you comfort as well. I love you very much and you are always in my thoughts and prayers. I knew something was not right with you this week; I am SO sorry that you are feeling so bad. I am telling Charlie so that he may pray for you while at work, as well. We know how difficult diabetes can be and we know what a struggle it is to find peace in such a situation. We praise God that you have found that! Love you, my friend,

Julie

Denise,
I'm so sorry to hear about your health issues. I'll pray for you also.

My sister-in-law had the same symptoms and she had gallstones. Are they SURE about the diagnosis? It'd be nice if one little surgery would "FIX" it all. Although, we KNOW that JESUS can HEAL you INSTANTLY! THAT will be our prayer!

Thanks so much for signing my blog so that I could "meet" you. =-)

LOVE, Tonya

Denise I am so sorry, and how frustrating that you have to wait until the 6th! I pray the specialist will be able to even it out.

Father, I pray for this sister that you would provide healing. I pray that she would hand over this burden of her health to you, claim your promise of peace, thank you for answering prayer and leave her problems in your hands, Father. Just calm her restless heart, clear her mind and fill her to overflowing with the sweet assurance that you are in control and all will work for good and your glory.
In Jesus'name,
Amen

I admire your heart so much my friend. Sometimes I get mad at God because you are so faithful and He hasn't healed you...yet :). But then you remind me of His love and faithfulness. I was watching TBN yesterday and something struck me that Benny Hinn (whom I don't normally like) said...He said that if you actually read what Jesus did for us in His Word, you'll read that He bore the sin of our inequeties. Sickness is the result of sin (not your personal sin, but the sin of Adam and Eve that caused us to not live eternally on earth). And because Christ died for sin, sickness (caused by sin and thus a sin) is actually forbidden to live in our bodies once we accept Christ in our hearts and lives! So, my friend, you march around that house and you rebuke satan and his attempts to steal your gift of redemption from sickness and sin and you tell that sickness caused by satan to get out of your body, that it is the temple of the Holy Ghost and it has NO AUTHORITY to live within you! I stand in agreement with you on this my dear friend!

Sorry your diabetes is getting worse - you are right to put your health and wellbeing into God's hands. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer some 11 years ago, but have prayed every day (along with many others) for an answer to my needs - I was told I would not see my son's 2nd birthday, he is now almost 13!!
Prayer truly does work miracles!
Be well and God bless,

i admire you for being so brave and for the steadfast faith in God. For a fact your condition is serious and it's not a mere sniffle but your courage to take it lightly is truly inspiring.
I know that things will be given to us in His time. And as one friend has told me, a delay is not a denial from Him.
Your in my prayers denise.
