Thankful Thursday-Hope

Hello everyone, time to lift our voices in praise to our Lord. I love Thankful Thursdays, it is wonderful to praise our Lord together for all He does for us. Of course, we should do that everyday, not just one day a week. Our God is so awesome. I am very thankful for hope, it is a precious gift from God. Psalm 31:24-Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. My hope is in the Lord, and the Lord is my true hope. Recently, my diabetes has really been taking a toll on my body. My eyes grow increasingly dimmer, my heart is sick , my stomach hurts constantly due to nerve damage, I am in stage 1 kidney disease. To be totally honest, I never feel well. But, that is ok. No matter how badly I may feel at times, God is always with me. He gives me hope for my future, and He assures me that my future is in His hands. I have hope that one day, I will be blessed with a wonderful new body, totally disease free. Praise God for the blessed hope that lives within me.

Dear Denise,

You bring joy to my soul! I see a woman who is rejoicing in her infirmities and that takes great hope and courage, especially with chronic invisible illnesses such as diabetes. Do you know about Rest Ministries? They have a website with many insightful articles and devotionals. I believe it's restministries.org .

My sister has lupus and I have chronic asthma. It's those invisble diseases that people can't see that sometimes turn people away because they think it's just "in your head".

Praying for you dear one!

Denise, what comfort it is to know someday we will have a new body. No more pain and suffering!! My husband always says he hopes his new body is blue since that is his favorite color. Isn't that funny?

I'm praying for you sweetie and hope you have more good days than bad days. You deserve them!!

I pray that your diabetes stops causing you pain. Your post hits home for me. I sit here with tears in my eyes cause my daughter Kallie who is just about 9 was diagnosed with Type I on November 7th. Turned our worlds upside down. We are trying to get her that insulin pump...I would be thankful for that :)

Thanks for visiting my blog.
