Love is beautiful, but it is also terrible--terrible in its determination to allow nothing blemished or unworthy to remain in the beloved."~ Hannah Hurnard .:God created us in His image, and of course, He is flawless. But, we must live in this world, even though we are not of this world. We are constantly seeking to improve ourselves. We try the newest diet plan, exercise equipment, hair product, makeup, anti-aging product, ect. Quit wasting your money, those things are not what you need to improve yourself. Be proud of who you are, you are a daughter of the King. But, seek to daily improve your inward self. We all have blemishes on the inside, none of us are worthy to be the bride of Christ. He is preparing us with every trial we go through. Our Father loves us so much, that He will never give up on us, no matter how many times we let Him down. He is the potter, and we are the clay. Allow the Master artist, to create a beautiful portrait of you, no matter how long it may take. Then, you will be ready to be presented to your Bridegroom.

We can only HIDE those blemishes from others, NOT HIM..I am SO glad that HE does not EVER walk away, some of my blemishes scare me...but NOT HIM...

Great post, Denise.
Thanks for the reminder that we are the King's daughters and the product of the greatest Artist of all.

"But, seek to daily improve your inward self."
AMEN...and help us Jesus!
What a powerful quote.
No blemishes in the beloved. Hmmmmm.........that is good.
Bless you for sharing!
How funny. Your thoughts from this weeks quote match my thought on honesty. It is fun reading how other people interpreted the quotes and realize how differently we all think!
Blessings ~
Enjoyed your take on the quote.
God bless you!
Lovely post Denise.
Thanks for sharing
I needed to hear this: Quit wasting your money, those things are not what you need to improve yourself. I just walked away from washing my face and criticizing every flaw. Thanks for the reminder that I am a beautiful portrait, when my heart reflects Him!
Just stopping by to say hi. I've been pretty busy recently. Hope you are doing well!
Take care,
Karen
