In Other Words Tuesday

"In our lives the darkest times, the days that are bleak and black, add depth to every other experience. Like the dark bits of color in a mosaic, they add the contrast and shadows, that give beauty to the whole, but they are just a small part of the big picture."~ Amy Grant~ Mosaic: Pieces of My Life so Far: My life right now, is sometimes filled with quite a bit of darkness due to my vision problems. Sometimes, the colors are not very bright, there is alot of grey areas in my line of vision. The darkness tries to seep into my soul, and sometimes I cry. But, I quickly bounce back, with a gentle loving push from my dear Father. This darkness, is only adding to the beauty of my life. My memories are much more vivid, the colors in my heart are brighter and bolder than ever. Thoughts of heaven, and the beautiful colors that await me there, are awe inspiring. Thank you Lord for taking Your palette, and painting my world with Your beautiful love, nothing will ever take that from me.

Denise,

I'm sorry that the darkness tries to close in on you. The Lord's palette is marvelous and, as you say, cannot be taken away.

I continue to pray for you. May God send His angels to minister to you and help you find peace.

Love you,
Mary

Hi,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I noticed that you like the Love comes Softly series. That is by Janet Oke - correct? Are the movies as good as the books. My daughter loved the books and keeps looking at the movies. Is this something you would recommend?

You have a wonderful way of staying focused. God's blessings to you for sharing your thoughts with others. Is there a specific diagnosis for your eye problem?

I was praying over you this morning on my way to Franklinton. Thanking God for you. Asking Him to open your eyes to Himself. To give you a vision of Him that would give you greater vision.
And I am still thanking Him for healing your physcial eyes.

Dear Denise,
Thanks for your encouragement to me today. My favorite poem has always been the one about the weaver - we only see the tangled knots and dark colors on our side, but He sees the brightness and beauty of the finished fabric.
You are in my prayers too, dear one.
