Faith Lift Friday

Matthew 9:27-28:As Jesus left the house, He was followed by two blind men crying out, "Mercy, Son of David! Mercy on us!" When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with Him. Jesus said to them, "Do you really believe I can do this?" They said, "Why, yes, Master!"
29-31:He touched their eyes and said, "Become what you believe." It happened. They saw.(The Message):These passages of scripture are precious to me. I am a diabetic, and have been having several problems with my eyes. I have cataracts in both eyes, they are located right in my line of vision. My vision has been getting worse, I cannot see with, or without glasses. Everything is very blurry, and cloudy looking to me. Whenever I go anywhere, my dear husband leads me around. When we go grocery shopping, he places my hands on the buggy, and then he places his hands over mine, and away we go. There have been times, when my world has totally gone black, I was in darkness. I praise God that during those periods of time, He never left me, and I was not afraid. I will be having surgery on my right eye, which is the worse eye, next Friday morning. I have been told by my Doctor, that it might improve my vision, or it may not. I am considered legally blind right now. But, no matter what may happen after next Friday, and then six weeks of healing, my true Physician is in total control. I believe with all of my heart that God can heal me, in His time, not my time. If He chooses to heal me after this surgery, I will praise Him, but if He does not choose to heal me until the day I enter heaven, I will still praise Him. The eyes of my heart, will forever be focused on my dear Saviour.

Denise, did you know that my mom is also legally blind? And look at how the Lord has kept her in his hand and blessed her and used her to serve Him! No matter what happens next Friday, He has you firmly in his hand and I will join you in praising his Goodness!

Denise,

I will be praying with you as you have your surgery next week. God is mighty and able. It is refreshing to see that you are willing to walk whatever path the Lord will allow you to walk. It is about loving Him, not just what you 'get' from Him.

Thanks for this reminder!

Bless you!

No matter what happens I pray He continues to open the eyes of your heart to how wide, and deep and long lasting the love of God is for you His precious girl.
While I was reading your post God brought to mind Amy Carmichael. The last several years of her life she was bed ridden. She still ran her little village from her bed and she wrote several books. Her legacy lives on even today.
Corrie Ten Boome also has a similar account in her life.
I write this because God has plans for us. Big ones. He will never allow something in our life that will hinder us from accomplishing those plans.
You keep putting your life out there. He needs your shoes.

Denise I will surely be praying for you as well. I only have sight in one eye myself, I know how it feels not to be able to see well. You are such an encourager to me, despite everything, you still praise our Lord!! Trials in all of our lives remind me of the song "Through it all". We have learned to trust in Jesus. ((Hugs)) to you sweetie!!

The gift of loneliness is reaching out.
The gift of sorrow is comfort.
The gift of pain is healing.
It is when we share our sight we gain vision. In that we are healed. All this is temporal you are right. I do hope that your physical sight improves but I can see clearly how your spirit has 20-20 that is gained in the battle.
When we share our strength we are removed from our weakness.
It is your vision that has refreshed my sight.
May it be in my strength (He within me) that you are bolstered up.
We are in a battle the lines are drawn and we will win. Never the less we have a fight to fight. shoulder to shoulder.
I stand beside you.

Denise as you already know all that you can do is to rest in God's hands and let him do the rest!! I thought that the 10th was the date for your surgery. I will not be online during the 9th-11th because I will be in Atlanta at the Women of Faith conference. I will be praying for you. All is going to be fine...Sandy

Denise: Your physician's hands will be guided during your surgery and healing will be provided, as well. I will be thinking of and praying for your vision and that it be restored.

Blessings to you this week!

Dear Lord,

I lift up my sister, Denise. I thank You for her faithfulness. I thank You for her ministry of encouragement and love on her blog. She has touched me so, and I've never seen her. You are about so much more than the physical sight. But I ask for a miracle of complete and utter cure for Denise's vision. Boldly, I come to the throne and ask for this miracle, and yet, Your will be done, Father. I ask that you give the surgeons and staff wisdom, skill, and knowledge during Denise's surgery. I ask that you protect her from any complication, and heal her quickly. I pray that You would fill her abundantly with your Spirit of peace. Father, thank You for this encourager, this woman who is an open testimony of The Good News. In Jesus' name, amen.

Not sure if I mentioned this before. I am reading a book called Healthy Fats For Life. I would encourage you to get the book and read about how important fatty acids are to eye sight and so many other body functions. If you have any questions about which product I use just send me an email.

Oh sweet thing... I hate that you are going through this... We can ask why... (and I do).... I know that I won't know or always get the answers... on this side of Heaven....so I will rest in Abba's arms... knowing He will comfort us and for now I will ask Him to hold you, comfort you and heal you in a way that He "sees" unfolding in His plans..

So Papa, be Denise's eyes... Heal her... give her peace..

And whatever You do, we thank You..

Thank you for Eddie... what a gift...

Thank you for the encourager that Denise is... wow, she's such a gift..

I love you sweet one...
